    The Child; highly Force-sensitive and highly, highly adorable

    The Child is one of the key protagonists in Star Wars: The Mandalorian TV series that began in 2019. Initially, very little is known of baby Grogu™ except for the fact that he is highly sought after by several parties who—let’s just say—might not have his best interests at heart…

    The Mandalorian is employed to capture and escort The Child back to their client. However, things don’t quite go to plan…

    The Child has developed something of a cult following from the moment he made his first appearance in Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

    Grogu is affectionately known by some fans of the show as “Baby Yoda”. Although Grogu and Master Yoda are most definitely not the same being, they do belong to the same, unnamed species. And, just like Yoda, Grogu is highly sensitive to The Force, and used his innate abilities to save the Mandalorian’s life—which helped forge a strong bond between them.

    Although Grogu is only a… wait for it… a child, at the time the TV series is set, he is still around 50 years old. We hope for all our sakes when and if he learns how to talk, he’ll share his anti-aging tips with us all!
