We want, and have an obligation, to deliver world-class safety-by-design experiences that enable children to engage safely online while still having fun and learning through digital play.

In 2013, the LEGO Group became the first toy company to sign up to the Children’s Rights and Business Principles, developed by the United Nations Global Compact, Save the Children and UNICEF.

As part of our continued partnership with UNICEF (partnership since 2014) we are committed to promoting children’s rights and reflecting best practices, and to work together to inspire other businesses to adopt child safeguarding policies, also within the digital environment.

Safer Internet Day 2020

On Safer Internet Day the 11th of February, the LEGO Group is getting together with companies across the world to create a better internet experience for kids by teaching them how to become digital citizens. The day is also about empowering parents to understand the potential risks and opportunities of the online world and providing them with tools to tailor their digital experiences.
