Dust off your Jedi Interceptors and get your Lightsabers™ ready, folks, because it’s that time of year again! That’s right, we are getting ready to celebrate May the 4th, also known as Star Wars™ Day. It’s a day for fans to show their love for one of the most famous series of all time, and introduce new fans to the galaxy far, far away.
To help you make the most of the occasion, we’ve rounded up some ideas for how you can celebrate, LEGO® brick style!
Build a LEGO® Star Wars™ Set
And what better way to celebrate May the 4th than by building one of your favorite models from the Star Wars™ galaxy out of LEGO® bricks? Whether you dream of piloting a starfighter, rebuilding legendary characters or recreating iconic battles, there’s a set for every Jedi, Sith and intergalactic bounty hunter out there.
Are you a devotee of the original trilogy? A prequel fan? Or maybe you’ve sworn to the code of the The Mandalorian™? No matter which corner of the galaxy is your favorite, there's a LEGO Star Wars set calling your name.
If Star Wars: Attack of the Clones™ is your favorite Star Wars movie, or if you have a soft spot for one of the galaxy’s deadliest bounty hunters, the LEGO Star Wars Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship (75409) Ultimate Collector Series model is the perfect building project for you. With a press-down entrance, a seismic charge compartment, adjustable blaster cannons and LEGO Star Wars minifigures of both Jango Fett and young Boba Fett, this set is a must-have for any Mandalorian-in-training.

Host a Star Wars™ Watch Party
This one may seem obvious, but one of the best ways to celebrate May the 4th is by watching a Star Wars™ movie or series. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith™ and the 10th anniversary of Star Wars: The Force Awakens™, so either of those would be a great place to start. Or if shows are more your speed, check out one of the many shows from the Star Wars galaxy, like Ahsoka™, The Mandalorian™, Star Wars: The Clone Wars™ or even the LEGO® Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy special. For even more excitement, the three-episode premiere of Andor: A Star Wars Story™ season 2 is available to stream on Disney+ starting April 22nd, 2025!
While you may not be up for a full 9-movie marathon of the prequel, original and sequel trilogies (if that’s your plan, May the Force be with you), one thing is certain: watch parties are way more fun with friends! Invite your pals over for a fun time, and make sure you have plenty of snacks. You can also use the LEGO Builder app’s Build Together function to build a LEGO set together while you watch.
Celebrate the History of LEGO® Star Wars™ with The Force of Creativity
In 2024 we celebrated the 25th anniversary of LEGO® Star Wars™, and to mark the occasion we created a special-edition book for fans of the theme and the many sets released over the years. The book, LEGO Star Wars: The Force of Creativity, offers an in-depth look at all the sets we’ve created from 1999, when the LEGO Star Wars theme first launched, to early 2024, when the book was published. The book also includes an exclusive time capsule, which features design sketches of the sets and minifigures, rare building instruction booklets and more.
A standard edition of the book without the time capsule, but with all the same incredible details, will also be available soon—stay tuned for its release!
Play the Star Wars™ Content in LEGO® Fortnite®
Gamers can join in on the action too! Check out the LEGO® Star Wars™ content available now on LEGO Fortnite®.
Explore the details of the previous LEGO Star Wars updates here. Rebel and Imperial ships have arrived in LEGO Fortnite, and the battle is on! Fans can help the Rebels build their village, wield a Lightsaber™ and take on stormtroopers with weapons like thermal detonators, E-11 blasters and bowcasters. Additionally, both Star Wars lovers and Fortnite fans can seek out the LEGO Fortnite Star Destroyer for an extra fun twist!
Talk Like a Star Wars™ Character
What would Star Wars™ be without its beloved characters? From Sith Lords to Jedi, Wookiees to Ewoks, the inhabitants of the galaxy are nothing short of iconic. Celebrate May the 4th by trying to talk like some of your favorite characters! You can speak like Yoda, try out your best Chewbacca growl or ominously enter any room with deep Darth Vader breaths.
Too much for every day? You could always try throwing some of your favorite quotes into conversation. (Though maybe don’t call someone a “scruffy-looking nerf herder” – that’s not very nice!) Greet your friends with a “Hello there!” a la Obi-Wan Kenobi or give a friend some Yoda-like encouragement by reminding them “Do. Or do not. There is no try.” And of course, you can never go wrong with the classic “May the Force be with you.”
Visit Your Local LEGO® Store
We’re celebrating May the 4th across the globe in our LEGO® Stores! Visitors to select LEGO Stores on or around Sunday, May 4th may have the chance to participate in a LEGO Star Wars Grogu Make and Take event. During this event, you can build and bring home your very own small LEGO Star Wars model of Grogu in a hover pram, celebrating your love for the character who captured the hearts of so many Star Wars fans with his big eyes, tiny hands and love of snacks.
Availability varies by store and country, so be sure to check our Store Locator to see if this event will be featured at a store near you. You can also call ahead to learn more or ask about any other offers available during this special occasion. (Build dates may vary. While supplies last).
Check Out These Exciting LEGO® Star Wars™ Activities
With LEGO® Star Wars™ sets, the adventure never ends! Whether you're recreating epic battles or telling your own intergalactic stories, there are endless ways to play.
To celebrate Star Wars Day this year, try playing "Guess the Scene", where you build a famous Star Wars moment from LEGO bricks and challenge your family or friends to guess what it is. Or, you could transform a room into your own Star Wars galaxy using LEGO bricks, balloons and other craft supplies to create planets and space stations. Then, build a LEGO Star Wars set or design a custom starship to set off and explore your galaxy. The play possibilities are as infinite as the galaxy itself!
However you choose to celebrate, we wish you a very happy Star Wars Day! May the Force be with you.
