    Finding the Manufacturing code

Every LEGO® set has a manufacturing code on the packaging that tells us when and where it was made. The code is usually 4-6 characters long and always includes a combination of 2-3 numbers, a letter and final number.

Depending on the set you have and how old it is, the code might be in one of these places:

    1. Stamped on the box near the barcode. You can sometimes feel it when you run your hands over the box or see it better looking at an angle.
    2. Printed on the plastic tape that seals the box. You’ve probably had to cut one or two to open the set up. Have another look and you should find the code on one or even all of them.
    3. Printed by a small QR code on the bottom of the box.
