    In Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, he famously helps Luke Skywalker find Obi-Wan Kenobi and alerts the pair to the plight of Princess Leia. He also plays a crucial part in delivering the plans for the Death Star, allowing the Resistance to eventually triumph against the dark side.

    A skilled mechanic and loyal friend, the loveable droid is always on hand when something needs rescuing or repairing – which is often his trusty droid side-kick C-3PO!
