Big set, big fun!
I would recommend this to a friend!
Incentivized ReviewMy ten year old is on a LEGO binge. She's putting together every set she can get her hands on. She was ecstatic to receive the premium-quality LEGO® City Shopping Street (60306) playset. The vehicles (there are some unique features there) and characters had her really pumped up, but her favorite feature are the glow-in-the-dark pieces. They really work and are such a fun addition. The bikes are really neat and being able to connect to all of the other LEGO she owns is awesome. It is a great addition for any LEGO enthusiast, expanding the world of play. My daughter built this in about 90 minutes and said it was easy for her.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0

This set is the first ever to make me actually sadThis set is just, so bad for it's pricing, I bought it today thinking it'd look nice but then i saw the reviews here. I still opened and built it only to have to no feeling towards it other than great sadness. This set isn't worth anything close to 79,99. At leasr 40.00 or 45.00...Play Experience1.0Building Experience1.0Value for Money1.0

Lovely details, but waaaaay overpricedPurchased this to introduce my son to Lego city (he’s ready to graduate from Duplo). He picked the set, I wouldn’t have purchased it if I was choosing because it looked pretty poor… but he was excited by having a street and some cars to play with. The build was fun and interesting, but only because it took ages due to my son’s limited motor skills at this stage. Even a child with minimal ability at the lower end of the recommended range, would complete this set very quickly. In terms of play, this is a good set because there’s lots of opportunities to role play and plenty of different components to take control of. But value for money is shocking. The vehicles are decent. The small details are good. But the buildings themselves are shockingly shallow. And those road base plates…. Come on Lego. These are shocking. What was wrong with the old ones? Oh wait. Too expensive/complex to produce I guess. Modular components are always going to be cheaper. I get the modular nature allows more customisation, but the beauty of the old plates, is they are so much more versatile due them being an plate and not another block of plastic with very little Lego connectors/studs. Please; please stop with these. Don’t buy this set. Get a few City vehicles (these are nearly always great) and look at the buildings from the Creator line of Lego products. Lego, if you’re serious about allowing children to create a cityscape, then provide some actual buildings beyond the police and fire stations. There’s really no need to keep reinventing these every other year. Provide some shops and houses.Play Experience4.0Building Experience3.0Value for Money1.0
