- January 11th, 2019Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Best.Set.EverArdee |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfThis is the biggest set I bought so far and mainly focused on the coaster itself. The set needs more mini figures and maybe more props in under and between the tracks but it'll become more expensive. The set it really heavy once built but can be carried from one place to another and won't fall apart if you're not clumsy. I bought the power functions separately and it works like a charm. No need to crank it anymore and just watch the coaster roll around. I can even connect all 6 carts and they still run good. Tried to connect 3 more from the pirate roller coaster set but they can't run anymore because of the sheer weight though. The set had two missing parts and asked for a replacement but as of today, I have no confirmation it they will be shipped. The set still works without them but I still want it as complete as it can be because of its price. This set deserves the 5 stars and maybe even more just for the pure fun I had in the three afterwork nights I sneaked in to build it and the dream of having a true Lego roller coaster set has finally become a reality.Play ExperienceAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Level of DifficultyAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Value for MoneyAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Build Time: 3 daysBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Roller Coaster

It's my first Lego set ever. It was easy to put together. I finished it in about 12 hours. - July 1st, 2018Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Best Family Build Yetm5k177j |I would recommend this to a friend! We are a family of 3 (soon to be 4) who love to build with Lego during our free time. We usually buy Lego sets that our son(age 5) picks out for birthdays and other holidays. We generally build a set over the course of a few days or weeks one bag at a time before bed time. This set took the longest for us to complete, but was very enjoyable to build. My son loved the Minifigures and other accessories like the juice stand and cotton candy cart, while my wife and I were blown away with the design of the frame and intricate mechanisms. My son also liked helping me with the gear assemblies, chain drive, and other complicated sections. Most importantly, unlike a few of the sets we've built in the past, this one has had the greatest play value. My son and I have spent hours loading the cars with various themed characters and acting out their trips to the amusement park. Most recently was Sensei Wu and the Ninjas driving the Ultrasonic Raider to the roller coaster for few hundred laps and some cotton candy. :D While the price is rather high, I believe this set is a great value, especially if you or your kids like to play with Lego sets just as much as building them. The only sort of con for me, is that it takes up a lot of space. We've designated a coffee table to it, and it cant really be taken apart into smaller sections for storage. But its size is also what makes it so incredible and fun.Play ExperienceAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Level of DifficultyAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Value for MoneyAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Build Time: 30+ daysBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Roller Coaster
- June 9th, 2018Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Great set with rooms for improvements!Xun424 |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfThis set has lots of repetitive steps. Building up all those columns was not fun, but I like the formwork looks this set has. That being said, I do think this set should be designed more stable! I feel like they could have used more technics pieces to achieve that! Note: The Statue of Liberty does not come with this set! I think It is a neat addition.
Response from LEGO SHOPJune 11, 2018Emily, Customer ServiceHey there! It's awesome that you're enjoying your LEGO® Roller Coaster. It definitely should be pretty sturdy, though. You might want to double-check that all the pieces are pressed together tightly and that nothing's even a little bit out of place. If you'd like a hand troubleshooting it, you can get in touch with us at LEGO.com/Service.Play ExperienceAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Level of DifficultyAverage rating5out of 5 stars5.0Value for MoneyAverage rating4out of 5 stars4.0Build Time: 15 hrsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Roller Coaster
