Build a feast of summer snack stalls with your family

The LEGO® Summer Festival is about to begin. Just one problem… the organizer forgot the food! Luckily, your family’s passion for good food and a fun project has led him straight to your door. Have you got what it takes to build an irresistible line-up of snack stalls fit for festival fun? 

These simple, playful builds will spark your child’s imagination and expand the possibilities of their existing LEGO brick collection. All you need to do is grab your bricks, work up an appetite and start cooking!

What’s on the menu?

You’ll need two ingredients to get started: LEGO bricks and creativity. Rummage around and dig out any bricks that resemble snacks, as these will guide the type of stall you’ll build. For instance, colorful, transparent bricks are great for ice popsicles and will be sure to catch the eye of many hungry customers! Once you know what snack you’re selling, think about the stall itself. Is it stationary, or can you add wheels to make it mobile? Is it a cute fairground hut, or perhaps a cart traveling from park to park? You could even combine it with an existing set, like adding a pizza stand next to your LEGO City Fries Food Truck.

Snack story

As you build together, ask questions to prompt creative, story-oriented construction. Who runs the stall? Why did they open it? What’s their personality like? 

This is the perfect chance to squeeze in a larger-than-life, custom-built character. It could be Frankie Furter, the legendary hot dog connoisseur who only speaks in riddles. Or maybe Officer Cruller, a pastry-obsessed police captain who has finally retired and is pursuing his dream of serving the world’s stickiest donuts.

Try and match your minifigure’s uniform, face and accessories to your stall. A candy cane walking stick would go great with a sweets seller!
