Balazs is a Budapest-based visual artist using LEGO bricks as his medium in creative projects.

Balazs is also the founder of Kockamuhely ("Brick Workshop" in English), a studio focussing exclusively on the use of LEGO bricks in art projects, kids programmes, and a variety of activities.

Balazs has been commissioned by cultural institutions and major companies in Hungary, and featured on national television and in international news media.
Balazs has also been working with LEGO Hungary and LEGO Store Budapest as their main creative partner in LEGO related campaigns and projects.

Some of Balazs' creations and projects include:

  • Large scale models of two iconic Budapest landmarks, the Chain Bridge and Heroes’ Square
  • Life-size busts of two Hungarian artists, replacing the two original bronze statues which had been stolen from a park in Budapest
  • Interactive model of the prestigeous Budapest Liszt Academy built from 20,000 bricks, designed for both display and for use in kids music education programmes
  • Model of St. Stephen's Basilica, one of Budapest's most famous landmarks, as part of the Guinness World Record LEGO Tower event in Budapest (May 2014)
