What is LEGO® SMART Play™?

The LEGO® SMART Play™ System is one of our newest innovations. For the first time ever, our sets play back through interactive, screen-free play, responding to kids’ movements and imagination. Please note that the SMART Bricks are not available on the LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ Compatible sets. You’ll find them in the LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ All-in-One sets. What’s the difference between All-in-One and Compatible SMART Play™ sets?

Let’s start with the basics! All-in-One sets come with everything you need to get started on the LEGO® SMART Play™ System: SMART Brick, SMART Tags and a charger.

Compatible Sets, meanwhile, amplify imagination and creative playtime through their SMART Tags. These interactive features come to life when you add a SMART Brick (not included), which can be taken from any All-in-One set you already own.

What is LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™?

Available in both All-in-One and Compatible versions, these new sets are designed to create an interactive LEGO® Pokémon™ training experience, ideal for any Trainer ready to dive in.

What age is LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ suitable for?

The LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ sets are ideal for kids aged 6 years and up and great gifts for LEGO® Pokémon™ fans ready to bring their training skills to life. They’ll have the chance to nurture and train alongside iconic LEGO® Pokémon™ favourites (including LEGO® Pikachu, LEGO® Charizard, LEGO® Bulbasaur, LEGO® Squirtle and many others).
