    Ant-Man

    Ant-Man first appeared in 1962’s Tales to Astonish in the form of Dr. Hank Pym, a scientist who tests size-reduction technology on himself – and shrinks to the size of an insect. The following year, the character was featured in The Avengers comic, and became a founding member of the Avengers team of superheroes.

    In 2015, a live-action movie titled Ant-Man saw Hank Pym recruiting master thief Scott Lang to take on the mantle of Ant-Man.

    Wearing a suit that enables him to shrink and with superpowers including extraordinary strength and the ability to control ants, the new Ant-Man is assigned the task of preventing the villainous Yellowjacket using the same technology for evil purposes.

    Scott Lang reprised his role in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and the Wasp in 2018 and Avengers: Endgame in 2019. Despite his small size, Ant-Man has made a big impact on kids’ action figure toys, including a range of LEGO® playsets.
