Registering your LEGO® sets

When you buy a new LEGO® set or receive one as a gift, you can scan the QR code on the building instructions to earn LEGO Insiders points! You can even earn points for sets you already own.

Here’s how to register your set:

Open your phone's camera and point it at the QR code on your building instructions.
Tap the link that appears on your screen to go to the next page.
Select ’Get the LEGO Builder app’ if you want to download the app and get building right away - we wouldn’t blame you!
To earn points, choose ’Join us’ to create an account or ’Log in’ if you already have one. If you’re already logged in, click ’Register your set’ or ’Log out’ to switch accounts.
That’s it! Enjoy your newly registered set and your 20 extra Insiders points!

If you already have the LEGO Builder app:

Open the app and scan the QR code on your building instructions.
Tap ‘Earn points’.
Click ’Join us’ to create an account or ’Log in’ to access your existing one.
Enjoy your newly registered set and 20 extra Insiders points!

A few things to keep in mind:

You’ll need a LEGO account to become a LEGO Insider and start earning points. Go to LEGO.com/Insiders for more info.
Points can only be earned by adults.
You can only register and earn points for a set once.
If you’ve already registered your set in the LEGO Builder app, scan the QR code again and follow the steps to earn points.
Points can only be earned on sets with QR codes on the building instructions. • For sets with digital building instructions, scan the QR code on the quick start guide.
If the QR code on your building instructions is damaged, get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to help.
Got more than one of the same set? You can register and earn points for all of them. Woo-hoo!
Some sets don’t include QR codes, such as LEGO City Missions sets, LEGO Advent Calendars, some LEGO Brand exclusive sets and some sets made before 2018.
