    Pneumatics

LEGO® pneumatics are specialized components that use air to perform various actions. This system moves pressurized air through a circuit between two points. We’ve been using pneumatics in Technic™ and LEGO Education sets since 1984.

In the past, sets included long pneumatic tubes that builders had to cut to fit a model. Now we pack tubes of the correct length so you don’t need to cut them yourself anymore.

Some building instructions, like the 42043 Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245, include charts illustrating the lengths of the various tubes in the set. This chart is meant to help you know exactly which tube you need to use at certain points in the build.
