How do I connect my SMART Brick to the LEGO® SMART Assist app for the first time?
Connecting your SMART Brick to the LEGO® SMART Assist app lets you update it and change settings.
Here's how to connect your SMART Brick to your device for the first time:
- Make sure the SMART Charger is plugged in
- Place the SMART Brick in the charging area. If the battery is low, you may have to let it charge for a bit before moving on to the next step. You’ll know it’s ready when it shows a green light when taken off the charger
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, and you’re connected to the internet.
- Open the app and go through the setup steps. You can choose to sign in to your LEGO account or continue as a guest
- Tap the plus button on the home screen and follow the instructions to connect your brick. The brick will show a blue light once it’s connected
If you have more than one SMART Brick, just repeat these steps as many times as you need. You can even add two bricks at a time as long they're both on the charger. Up to four paired bricks can be connected to your device at the same time.
TOP TIP: Keep your SMART Brick and your device close to each other when you're connecting them. Leaving the room with your phone in your pocket could break the connection.
