How do I charge the SMART Brick?

Here’s how to charge the SMART Brick using the SMART Charger:

    1. Plug in the SMART Charger using the USB-C cable that came in the box and plug the other side of the cable into a wall adapter. The charger doesn’t show any lights, but if it’s plugged in, it’s on.
    2. Place the brick in the charging area (the recessed part of it) with the studs facing up. You’ll see a white light coming on for a few seconds. Don’t leave the brick to charge on its side and don’t put it down right next to the charger.
    3. Leave the brick on the charger for 2 hours and 30 minutes. You can check the charge level by taking the brick off the charger and seeing what color light it shows and sound it makes.
      • Green and a bright chirping sound means it’s fully charged.
      • Yellow and a lower-pitched sound means there’s still a bit of play time left.
      • Orange or red and a power-down sound tells you it’s running low and needs to charge. It can take up to 2.5 hours to charge it all the way up.
    4. If you’ve connected your SMART Brick to your device using the LEGO® SMART Assist app, you can see the charge level there, too.
    5. Once you see the green light come on when you take it off the charger, it’s fully charged and ready to play!

The SMART Charger won’t work on metal surfaces, so put it on a table or shelf made from something else.

If you’re using multiple chargers at once, keep them at least 20 cm away from each other.
