- October 27th, 2020Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0First build in over 30 yearsI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI purchased the Stormtrooper to start as a static display in my home theatre room with the idea of purchasing the other 2 at a later date. Like other’s that have reviewed this I found it to be a bit smaller then expected, I’m also not impressed as the first bag there was a missing piece so I borrowed one from another and contacted customer service and continued to build. I was assured it was rare that pieces are missed but it would be sent from Denmark and arrive in 10-14 days. Almost near the end of the build now and I’m missing an additional 3 pieces so today I will again have to contact C/S and I’m on the fence on purchasing anymore.Play Experience3.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 14 daysBuilding Experience: Novice LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Stormtrooper™ Helmet
- November 13th, 2020Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0First model getting back into LegoRaesmus |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfRecently started building Lego with my son and got interested in building something more advanced and "for adults". I chose this set because of several reasons. Inte has a reasonable price tag to allow me to dip my toes into adult Lego, it would take me some time but not too Long, I love Star Wars and it looks cool when finished. Well, I must say that I was not disappointed! This is really something else than the Lego I remembered as a kid, much more advanced. I took my time and really enjoyed the process. I wouldnt say it ewas challenging but it demanded some attention at times. This allowed me to never really struggle to the point where I got annoyed but still felt satisfaction when it was done. For experienced builders, perhaps it's too simple, not sure. Now, I wish it would have been a little bigger, but at this size it will fit in most shelfs or on most desks. Also, since it's a symmetrical head the build got a tad repetitive, but that's just in the nature of it. This really sparked my interest for adult Lego and I will purchase the Tie Fighter Pilot to continue. I would definately recommend this to any novice builder or Star Wars fan!Play Experience4.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 2 hrs 45 minsBuilding Experience: Novice LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Stormtrooper™ Helmet
- May 25th, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Perfect for displayI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfThough it was a quick build, this set looks amazing and was a fun one; I especially like the way the eyes are done. Lego did a good job making it look round, and the whatever-they-are tubes are also done quite nicely (though having to put a sticker on every piece was a little bit annoying). The part of the helmet with the mouth grill could have been a little sturdier, though for display it's not a problem. I also think it would have been cool if the display stand was removable but in reality its not really necessary. All and all though, I love it! The black background for the instructions was a nice touch, I would like to see that more. Was super fun, felt like it wasnt too difficult but still kept me busy for about 3-4 hours. I think the build quality is very nice, and looks really cool on my shelf. The only negative thing I can say is that my set had a warped lego piece that made it unusable, that I luckily had a spare of (it was the 2x6 blue thin piece) but I have heard that lego has a pretty good replacement system, but I dont think i will be filing a reportPlay Experience5.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 3 hrsBuilding Experience: Intermediate LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Stormtrooper™ Helmet
