That is really disappointing. Overall the characters I thought lacked the fun factor they have in years past. Some are just pretty basic. They did add the floating element with the scuba diver (I have four of those now) though and that is neat. Probably time to calibrate the sorting machine that mixes things up though. I would have at least liked 50% of mine to be different. Not sure I will buy more or try to complete this set unless I go to the store and actually try to feel the packages.Play Experience3.0Level of Difficulty1.0Value for Money3.0Build Time: 1 hrsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?35Series 20
- May 28th, 2020Average rating2out of 5 stars2.0Wish they'd ditch the blind bag systemI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI'd happily pay more to be able to just buy the specific ones I want. Ordered 16 of these, got a bunch of duplicates and not the ones I actually wanted. I usually just go into the store and spend a hour or so feeling up the bags to get the ones I'm looking for (which obviously is annoying) but with the COIVD situation that's not an option. Now I'm mucking around online trying to sell the ones I don't want. This isn't collecting hockey cards, I don't want to trade with people, I want the ones that compliment my existing sets. Not cool Lego.Play Experience2.0Level of Difficulty1.0Value for Money2.0Building Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?25Series 20
- July 30th, 2020Average rating1out of 5 stars1.0Pricey DisappointmentThe price jump from $3.99 to $4.99 is just a deal breaker. We always tried to collect all the figures ever series. I could rationalize at $4, but at $5 that's a 25% increase! Collecting all 16 is now a $80 out lay! What's even more disappointing is that the price isn't justifiable. These aren't licensed products. The price increase has been in effect before the pandemic. It's just feels like nothing but a blatant money grab. The overall increase in all set prices while combined with a noticeable decrease in the number of pieces is disappointing and frankly alienating to a long time Lego fan. The CMF price jump is just the most obvious case of the increase in price and reduction in part counts.Level of Difficulty1.0Value for Money1.0Build Time: 1 minsWas this helpful?15Series 20
- July 31st, 2020Average rating1out of 5 stars1.0The Price......Purchased for: SelfI can only put it one way, this series SUCKS. The only reason you should get it is for a completionist or 3 minifigs. The only ones that are good are the space warrior(basically a Power Ranger), the breakdancer, and the diver for the turtle piece. I dont know why they didn't go back to the $4. I get that the DC was expensive cause of the parts and really good printing but, this is such a letdown. AND i mean only get it for those minifigs, if your'e a completionist, and if you can feel the bags good.Play Experience1.0Level of Difficulty1.0Value for Money1.0Build Time: 1 minsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?15Series 20
