The Escape Pod was a fun build, not too much about that was unexpected. The Dewback was what I was waiting for, and it was worth it. This was so much more fun than the old molded parts Dewbacks. I was delighted with the little bits of movement this Dewback had, filled with character and charm. Now offer up a bigger fully articulated Dewback for us in 2020 and I will be a happy camper.Play Experience5.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 1 hrsWas this helpful?55Escape Pod vs. Dewback™ Microfighters

I was worried it would be unstable, but it hold together well. I feel the built dewback is better than the minifigure version found in some of the older Mos Eisley sets. The escape pod is also a fun build, but I'll likely be using it for parts. I'm happy to get more rolker skates!Build Time: 30 minsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Escape Pod vs. Dewback™ Microfighters

The escape pod build is good and for a younger LEGO fan it has loads of play value, the dewback is very good and again has lots to offer, play wise, to the age range the set is aimed at. Mini figures really make this set great, R2 and C3PO are great, the printing on the figures is very detailed. The Sandtrooper (those poor stormtroopers forever patrolling the Tattooine Badlands) is very good and has already been mentioned for the dual moulded helmet. One slight issue with the Sandtrooper helmet is the when placed next to the Mos Eisley Cantina Sandtrooper the (dual moulded) helmet is rather bulky. Other than the small point about the new stormtrooper helmet this set is very, very good. To be honest I purchased this for the minifigures and the dewback to go with the Mos Eisley Cantina, Luke's Landspeeder and some Jawas in a Mos Eisley diorama.Play Experience4.0Level of Difficulty2.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 30 minsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Escape Pod vs. Dewback™ Microfighters

Three figures in a Microfighters set, a new Sandtrooper, and a brick built Dewback. The figures: The three figures are a nice selection, Artoo and Threepio are not new, but being someone who has never had these two iconic characters before, it's special for me. The Sandtrooper has a new helmet, which the eyes and mouth grille are separately molded from the white shell, which looks really good, but it makes the helmet extremely bulky. The models: The escape pod is well done, being able to fit Artoo and Threepio rather well, almost comedic like. Good detailing for such a small set, and a lot of rockets on the back! The Dewback looks great, standing rather well beside the Sandtrooper, it's not too tall. The making this model was not repetitive, making it an interesting build, with a unique sand green colour scheme. All in all, it was a fun set to build with no huge gripes!Play Experience3.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 10 minsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Escape Pod vs. Dewback™ Microfighters
