What is Minifigure Factory and how does it work?

Minifigure Factory lets you build and order your own custom LEGO Minifigure! There are loads of minifigure heads, hats, torsos, legs and accessories to choose from! The "Design your torso" button lets you get really creative – you can add patterns, designs and even text!

Why aren't there more pieces and skin colors to choose from for my customizable minifigure?

The minifigure maker is brand new, so some features and parts are limited at the moment. More customization options will be added over time to enhance your LEGO character creation experience.

When will I receive my minifigure once it's personalized?

Accepted Answer

Minifigure Factory orders will be sent like normal LEGO.com orders. If you ordered a LEGO set at the same time as your minifigure, you should receive both together.

Why can't I order from the minifigure builder if I'm based outside the US and Canada?

We’re just starting out with our online Minifigure Factory, so there’s limited availability while we make sure everything’s working right. We’ll be opening it up to more LEGO character creator fans over time, so be sure to check back in the future!

Can I create my custom LEGO minifigure in store as well?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Some of our LEGO stores let you create your own minifigure, but it does depend on what parts they have in stock. Stores offer the possibility of purchasing and customising your minifigure as well. You can find stores out where to go here:

Will my personalized minifigure look the same as what I see on screen once printed?

Accepted Answer

The colors on your monitor may look slightly different from the printed minifigure, as color settings can vary between computers. To make your text stand out, try choosing contrasting colors when using the LEGO character creator.

Can I return my own LEGO minifig if I change my mind after purchasing?

As this is a personalized product, we'll only accept returns if there is something wrong with your order.

How much does the Minifigure Factory cost?

The cost of creating your very custom LEGO minifigure with the Minifigure Factory is $11.99 USD. This price lets you pick all the cool parts you want and even add your own unique designs and text! Prices may vary a little depending on where you are, so be sure to check out the Minifigure Factory page on LEGO.com for the latest info before you hit that “Add to Bag” button and bring your awesome creation to life!

Will the text and designs I put on my minifigure be moderated?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We want you to have fun with your creations, but we also need them to be respectful and kind.

Designs or wording about the following topics won’t be approved:

Bullying and harassment: We don't tolerate anyone being shamed, bullied, threatened, trolled, intimidated or harassed.

Hateful content: Anything that praises, promotes, glorifies, or supports any hateful ideology

Profanity and slurs: Anything featuring swearing, negative stereotypes or caricatures.

Political content: Politics and political symbols, campaigns or movements.

Religious content: Religious references including symbols, buildings or people.

Inappropriate content: Anything depicting physical harm, glorifying self-harm, or featuring pornographic/nude content.

Sharing personal information: Publicly revealing anyone’s personal information is not allowed (such as phone numbers or email addresses).

Violent content and gore: Encouraging, promoting or glorifying killing, crime, violence, or violent extremism.

Illegal and restricted activities: Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia.

External advertising: Don’t promote other brands or their products within your designs or content.

Designs that do not pass these guidelines will be canceled from your order. You will not be charged.

What languages does this minifigure builder support?

We're currently able to support text written in English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin.
