    Did you know?

    LEGO® trains were originally made of wood, like all of the earliest LEGO toys. Even in the late 1940s when plastic toys were added to the range, the trains continued to be made only in wood – an era that ended in 1960 after a fire damaged the woodworking factory, bringing the production of wooden trains to a halt.
