A rare glimpse into the LEGO® designer’s creative process and a collection of unseen prototypes and concept sketches that laid the foundations for the birth of the epic Lion Knights’ Castle (10305).

Great sets don’t just happen! It takes extensive planning, researching and heaps of exploratory design. With so many factors to be considered, LEGO designers will explore endless iterations, sketches and model variants before reaching their destination.

This process is essentially the ‘origin story’ of every set, yet it’s a journey we rarely get to see. However, thanks to the creators of the Lion Knights’ Castle, Mike Psiaki and Milan Madge, we have been given exclusive access to some of their concept designs and drawings that led to this amazing set.
