LEGO McLaren 100th Grand Prix Helmets

MONTE CARLO, MONACO, & BILLUND, DENMARK, 03 JUNE 2026: Today, the LEGO Group and McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 team join forces in celebrating McLaren's 1000th race in Monaco by unveiling two new co-created LEGO® Editions helmets as well as real driver helmets based on the new sets, to be worn this weekend at the Monaco GP. Both LEGO Editions sets feature the drivers in LEGO minifigure form for the first time and are available today, 3rd June 2026.

Louise McEwen, Chief Marketing Officer at McLaren Racing, said “Our partnership with the LEGO Group is rooted in a shared commitment to creativity, innovation and inspiring the next generation of fans, and this launch captures that perfectly. Seeing our drivers’ helmet designs reimagined through LEGO creativity, and then brought back onto the track at Monaco, is a powerful expression of what we can achieve together. It’s playful, it’s authentic, and it connects our heritage with new audiences in a way that feels both meaningful and relevant. We’ve built something truly special with the LEGO Group over the years, and this is another milestone that reflects the strength of that partnership and the ambition we share for what comes next.

Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer at the LEGO Group, said: ”With a partnership spanning over a decade, we’re excited to bring the power of LEGO creativity to the historic celebration of McLaren Racing’s 1000th Race. It’s been a true co-creation process, where our LEGO design team worked closely with the drivers and McLaren Racing to develop these special 1000th race LEGO helmet products. Now fans will be able to build the sets at home, creating a cool memento of racing history for display. We can’t wait to see the real helmets being worn this weekend by Lando and Oscar!

The driver helmets for McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team Drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris to wear in celebration of the team’s 1000th race were made in a special collaboration between the drivers and the LEGO design team. The helmets feature striking details and the drivers’ signature color schemes, combined with the unique design of the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team 1000th race livery, designed to celebrate their incredible milestone. Both real helmets are based on the two all new LEGO Editions sets, which fans are now able to take home, celebrating a unique racing legacy.
