The fusion of LEGO bricks and Dungeons & Dragons forms and epic adventuring party and YOU are invited to join! With bricks in hand, gather friends and family to embark on thrilling quests and craft stories uniquely your own.

But wait, there’s more! We also launched 12 collectible minifigures designed to spark your imagination and expand your D&D campaigns.

So, who are these characters? What do they do? How can they level up your game? Let’s begin this quest together…

    First – the playable characters!

What’s an epic D&D campaign without its courageous heroes? That’s where the playable characters – and you – come in! These heroic adventurers are ready to take center stage and lead the charge. From their backstories to their abilities, every detail is yours to shape. Let’s meet the party…

    Tiefling Sorcerer

Born with innate magic, this caster’s abilities come from within. Accompanied by a fiery red dragon familiar and mesmerizing missile spell (guaranteed for its accuracy!), this Tiefling can cast their devilish magic at any moment... “One magic missile coming right up!”

    Elf Bard

Bards love attention, casting magic through music, songs and grand speeches. Charming foes, inspiring allies or conjuring vivid illusions, their performances captivate all. With their trusty lute, a curved rapier and scarf for flair, they’re ready to steal the show.

    Halfling Druid

Drawing magic from natural forces – trees, animals and weather – Druids protect both friends and the wilderness. With their bird companion, floral staff and antler hood, they really are at one with nature.

    Dwarf Barbarian

“Point me towards the battle!” Barbarians are warriors who use their emotions to supercharge their actions. Armed with just a large hammer and torch, the Dwarf Barbarian charges fearlessly and bravely toward any problem. In short: they’ll do anything to protect others!

    Dragonborn Paladin

Believing in justice and doing the right thing – Paladins draw magic from their oath to help others and make the world a better place. Donned in heavy armor and a shield with the symbol of Bahamut (a dragon deity), they are the ultimate knights in shining armor!

    Aarakocra Ranger

Wilderness experts with sharp senses – Rangers never get lost and can hear danger coming from a mile away. Using their magic to speak with animals, they form special bonds – like with their wolf cub. Armed with a bow for ranged attacks, they are always ready!

    Gith Warlock

Warlocks learn their magic and the secret mysteries of the multiverse from a powerful creature – a patron. In return, they help their patron by going on quests and granting them important favors. Holding a dagger and a mysterious staff, this minifigure is all-seeing…

    Now – the villains!

Meet the villains! These characters drive the story as antagonists or side characters. Mwahaha!

    Mind Flayer

Beware the Mind Flayers, clever monsters who want to take over the world – by stealing brains! These creepy, tentacled creatures can read your thoughts and steal your memories with their intellect devourer (basically a brain with legs). They live deep underground… waiting to rise again. Gulp!

(Psst! The Mind Flayer is listed as an NPC since it’s usually an enemy – but who says you can’t walk on the tentacled side and play as one too?)

    The Lady of Pain

The all-seeing, mysterious ruler of the city of Sigil. The Lady of Pain’s city is full of magical doors and portals to other fantasy worlds in a vast multiverse. Floating silently above the ground in her blade-like headdress, she is an otherworldly presence.

    Strahd von Zarovich

The vampire lord of Barovia who rules the valley from the terrifying Castle Ravenloft. Hypnotizing his foes, summoning swirling mists and even transforming into a bat or wolf, Strahd von Zarovich is super powerful. With a striking silver sword and goblet, their presence is spellbindingly eerie.

    Tasha the Witch Queen

She may have many names, but ‘queen’ is most important! A mighty wizard, she has explored the multiverse, learning magic from strange and dangerous creatures. Cauldron aflame and spellbook in hand, a newly invented spell is being conjured up as we speak…

    Szass Tam

The immortal lich wizard, Szass Tam, uses magic and fear to rule Thay, a horrible land of zombies. Donned in a vibrant vermilion red robe, holding a transparent red skeleton head and a magical flame, he uses his necromantic powers in his quest to take over the world!

Tips to create your LEGO® D&D® campaign

    Mix it up!

All playable LEGO D&D characters come with interchangeable heads and hands, leaving you free to mix, match and create your dream character. Building a Tiefling who is a Bard? Sure! The multiverse is your playground.

    Epic in every way!

The LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348) set comes with its own campaign, perfect for beginners and seasoned adventurers alike. One person becomes Dungeon Master, while the heroes build the set as they play the adventure.

But the fun doesn’t have to end there...

By creating your own character, you have a personal stake in the game. It’s emotional storytelling through your own lens, and you’re at the heart of every chapter! Add new minifigure creations for narrative twists. Did the Mind Flayer emerge seeking brains? Is Strahd plotting from his castle? Your imagination shapes every chapter.

    Begin your story

Now you know who’s who and what’s what – it’s time to roll the dice and let the adventure begin. One question remains… are you ready to play?
