BILLUND, DENMARK, 23 April 2026: The LEGO Group and Universal Products & Experiences have today unveiled an exclusive LEGO Shrek set, alongside a LEGO Shrek BrickHeadz™ set, inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s beloved Shrek franchise, marking the first time Shrek has appeared in LEGO form. Bringing the iconic ogre and his fairy-tale world to life in bricks, these new sets give fans a brand-new way to celebrate one of animation’s most iconic characters.

Hitting the big screen 25 years ago, Shrek turned the fairy-tale world upside down (and we’ve been quoting it ever since!). Now, fans can return to the swamp in an entirely new way. With the launch of the new LEGO Shrek sets, audiences can recreate favourite scenes and relive iconic moments from the beloved franchise. Combining cinematic nostalgia with hands-on creativity, LEGO Shrek invites builders to bring the magic of the swamp to life in brick form.

Adult fans can reminisce on 25-years of Shrek with the detailed LEGO Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots posable display set for ages 18+. Featuring brick-built Shrek and Donkey, plus a Puss in Boots minifigure, this set is on a swamp base with the classic “Beware Ogre!” sign.

Other nods to the film include sunflowers, an onion and a blue flower with red thorns. Discover hidden Easter eggs tucked inside Shrek’s gut for an extra layer of fun.

For younger builders, the LEGO BrickHeadz™ Shrek set invites kids aged 10+ to step into the world of Far Far Away and build three beloved characters: Shrek, Donkey and Gingy. LEGO BrickHeadz are stylised, brick-built collectible figures, known for their distinctive square-headed design. Packed with playful details from Shrek’s signature ears and Donkey’s cheeky smile to Gingy’s icing buttons, the set also features a “Beware Ogre” sign inspired by Shrek’s iconic swamp.
