- September 22nd, 2019Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Awesome set. Definitely worth the money. A+++I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfThis set may be a little expensive, but, in my opinion, it’s definitely worth it. The detailing on this set is amazing. It is a little repetitive, but I like that they gave it different patterns of small pieces on each side. Using Technic to make the skeleton of the ship is genius. It is definitely sturdier than the 2002 model. I like that they attached the Tantive IV to the ship instead of leaving it loose on the side. The display stand is definitely better than the one from the old set. It’s very easy to carry, although not through a standard door frame. Overall, this set is definitely worth it for any Star Wars or LEGO fan.Play Experience3.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 12 hrs 50 minsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Imperial Star Destroyer™
- December 13th, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Great Lego! but....I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfGreat Lego!-Is an amazing piece of art to look at, I had some difficulty building the it, the frame was easy, but some of the plates were flimsy- particularly the back plates on either side broke 5 times total when building it, the 3x3x1 (Piece 6014617) plate piece on the back side, would not stick on, and I had to find replacements for them, the main issue was the lack of structural support in some areas. The lego overall was great but there is room for improvement. I also suggest getting LEDs to put inside the back and middle area of the lego near the handle, it raises the lego to another level. Great Lego!Play Experience2.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money5.0Build Time: 20 hrsBuilding Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Imperial Star Destroyer™
- January 1st, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0FantasticChic |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfThis took months of planning, as I had run out of space for anymore Star Wars Lego. Didn’t have space for new bookcases until I figured out how to build them around my desk. So this was two builds in one, 1st some joinery....then the Lego! Got to compare this to the UCS Millennium Falcon, which I found a more satisfying build & in my opinion better value for money. But when you are spending this much on a display piece, the price is secondary to the quality. Got to say I love it. Looks great, the mini Tie Fighter was a nice surprise. It inspired me to build a Tie Bomber out of some old spares. Also built a mini Falcon which was being pursued by the ISD, but it seems to have gone missing? Due to the height of my shelf, I have angled the stand. This gives a better view of the detail on the top. Agree that the stand is flimsy, but if it is displayed on a sturdy base, it is good enough. Just ordered some parts for more Tie Fighters. Looking forward to the next UCS build.Play Experience3.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money3.0Build Time: 20 hrsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Imperial Star Destroyer™
- May 13th, 2020Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0AmazingI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI love the set so much! When I first got it I thought it wouldn’t be very big But as I started to build it I was very surprised on how huge this set is. I am starting my Lego collection and it is already worth over two grand so this is an amazing addition to my collection. I put a two out of five brick review on the playability only because you can’t really play with it. The mini tantive IV That this set comes with is really awesome and I think it is a great edition To this set. Im a 15 year old Lego builder and I was still able to complete this Set in just over 16 hours. It is a bit overpriced but I love it and I will never get rid of it.Play Experience2.0Level of Difficulty3.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 16 hrs 19 minsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Imperial Star Destroyer™
