Q: How do pre-orders and back-orders work?

Do you offer free standard delivery?

Here’s how delivery costs work:

Orders up to £50 have a delivery cost of £3.95.
Orders of £50 or more are delivered free. Qualifying purchases must be in merchandise only. Gift Cards don't apply to the merchandise total.
Pick a Brick and Create a Minifigure orders may include extra fees. Refer to the Pick a Brick and Create a Minifigure orders section below.
Gift Cards are always delivered free.

How long will it take to deliver my order?

This info relates to orders from LEGO.com but excludes orders placed via the Pick a Brick service. See more info on Pick a Brick orders below.
Our standard delivery time frame is 2–4 working days (Mon–Fri).

Can I get express delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can! Express delivery is also available for pre-ordered and back-ordered items, which will be dispatched on the date they become available.

Express delivery costs £18 and takes 1–2 working days (Mon–Fri).
Select Express delivery and place your order before 2:30pm GMT if you wish to receive your order the next day. Valid for metropolitan areas only.

Question 4

Can I arrange a delivery to a Collection Point?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but you can only select a Collection Point in the same country where you place the order.

More info on Collection Points:

Delivery time frame is 2–4 working days (Mon–Fri).
Size restrictions may also apply.
If the Collection Point location can’t accept your order, your order will be delivered to the shipping address you provided during checkout.
Orders will be returned if not picked up from the Collection Point within 7 days.
DPD will email you when your order is ready to be collected and send reminder emails during the 7-day pick-up window. DPD will also send an email if the item is returned to the LEGO warehouse.
Orders that include Gift Cards, Pick a Brick or Create a Minifigure can’t be sent to a Collection Point.

How do Pick a Brick and Create a Minifigure orders work?

Please allow 9 working days for delivery of Pick a Brick or Create a Minifigure parts.

We charge a service fee of £5.50 for Pick a Brick and Create a Minifigure orders. If your basket meets the minimum amount of £15, the service fee will be removed.

Express and Collection Point deliveries are not available.

If your order contains parts that are currently out of stock, we’ll cancel and remove those parts from the order. We’ll only dispatch and charge for the parts that are available.

If your order contains both Pick a Brick and Create a Minifigure, you’ll only be charged the service fee and delivery fee once.

How can I track my order?

To track your order, simply follow these easy steps:

Log in to your account and navigate to ‘My orders’.
Find the order you want to track and select ‘Manage my order’.
Click on ‘Track package’ or visit the courier's tracking page for real-time updates.
You can also track your order from the delivery confirmation email sent to you after your purchase.

It can take 24 hours for your tracking number to start displaying updates.

What if my order includes both pre-order and back-order items?

Accepted Answer

If your order includes both pre-order or back-order items and other in-stock items, the in-stock items will be sent separately. Any gifts or promotional items you qualify for will be dispatched with the next available items in your order. The expected delivery dates for products in back-orders or pre-orders may change based on factors such as changing arrival schedules or incoming stock availability.

How do gift orders work?

Accepted Answer

To help keep your LEGO gift a surprise, we’ll send it in a plain, unmarked box. You can also choose a different delivery address, so the package isn’t spotted.

If you’ve chosen delivery to a different address, we’ll assume it’s a gift and leave out the price and billing details.

Question 10

Can I edit or cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

You’ll be able to cancel your order until its status shows as ‘In warehouse’. You can track its delivery status from your ‘My orders’ page.

If none of the items in your order have an ‘In warehouse’ status yet, and you’d like to cancel it, select ‘Manage my order’. Then, click ‘Cancel order’ and follow the remaining steps. It’s super easy!

If your order includes only pre-order or back-order items, you’ll be able to cancel it up to 5 working days before the estimated delivery date.
