How do planes fly?
At some point, you blowing raspberries to imitate the sound of an airplane engine won’t satisfy your child’s curiosity about this mystery. A quick and simple answer: A plane’s engines or propellers create thrust to move the plane forward. The wings are angled so they push air down as the plane moves forward—and thus lifts the plane up.
