There are many Pokémon that we love for many different reasons. Maybe you love the fierce, fire-breathing Charizard, the slumbering, sleepy Snorlax or the strange and stressful Psyduck.

But when it comes to sheer out-and-out cuteness, almost no Pokémon can compete with the cuddly Eevee.

This adorable Pokémon has soft brown fur, cute pointy ears and beautiful brown eyes. It’s almost impossible to look at Eevee without wanting to pick it up and cuddle it!

So, as we release the LEGO® Pokémon™ Eevee set, we thought we would take the time to introduce you to Eevee and to everything you can expect from the new set.

All about Eevee

This Eevee figure is instantly recognizable from the Pokémon world, with its cute face and perky tail and ears. These details are all captured in the new set, and the limbs and head of this normal-type LEGO® Pokémon™ figure are movable, while the tail can rotate so that you can position it however you like. It can be posed into authentic positions in its retreating stance or running away from wild Pokémon, and even its ears move to show that the Eevee is on high alert.

This 587-piece Pokémon figure stands over 7.5 in. (19 cm) tall and will make a stunning display wherever you showcase it around your home.

You can team up with friends and family with Build Together mode in the LEGO Builder app, where everyone has fun building part of this Pokémon set using their own devices, making this an ideal LEGO set to enjoy with fellow Pokémon fans.

One Pokémon, many ways to evolve

As experienced players will likely know, there is much more to Eevee than an adorable face. In fact, in the original video games, it has one of the most unique and fascinating Evolution mechanics in all of the Pokémon to date.

In the first video games, while most Pokémon can only evolve into a single form, Eevee has the ability to evolve into multiple forms through a variety of mechanisms, one of which being Evolution Stones.

These Evolution Stones could be found in different locations and are used to evolve Pokémon into their next evolutionary stage without the need for battles and level ups.

The Fire Stone would allow Eevee to evolve into Flareon.

The Thunder Stone would allow Eevee to evolve into Jolteon.

And the Water Stone would allow Eevee to evolve into Vaporeon.

All eight of Eevee’s potential for Evolutions are Easter egged in this set and will be revealed as fans build this Pokémon figure.

Finding an Eevee

It couldn’t be found wild anywhere in the Kanto region throughout Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue or Pokémon Yellow, and could only be found in a Poké Ball in a mansion in Celadon City.

There was only one in each game, and that meant that you could only evolve it into one of the next-stage Pokémon. So, if you wanted to complete your Pokédex, you would have to trade with other players.

With the release of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! on the Nintendo Switch™, Eevee took a starring role. In the game named after it, the player started with an Eevee, a testament to how popular this Pokémon had become over the years since it was first seen.
