The LEGO Group today announced the appointment of Rasmus Duun as Head of LEGO House. Known as the Home of the Brick, LEGO House is the LEGO Group’s flagship experience in Billund, Denmark, welcoming fans from around the world. The experience centre brings the LEGO brand to life through immersive zones, exhibitions and creative workshops, celebrating learning through play and creativity for all ages.

The LEGO Group announced it will continue to support local communities in the Greater Richmond area, committing more than $1.3 million in grants to eight nonprofit organizations in the region, funded by the LEGO Foundation.

The LEGO Group is celebrating a significant milestone in its journey to make all its packaging from more sustainable sources. Over half (56%) of packing lines that package LEGO bricks have now transitioned away from using single-use plastic bags, replacing them with sustainably sourced, technically recyclable paper-based alternatives.

At an award ceremony in Copenhagen, Denmark, LEGO Group CEO Niels B Christiansen was named Leader of the Year 2025 – the most prestigious leadership award of the country.

Each year, the LEGO Group tracks and reports its absolute Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in accordance with the internationally recognised Greenhouse Gas Protocol framework. This includes emissions from direct operations, purchased energy, and other activities involved in making and selling LEGO® products, reported as Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Moving forward, the company will publish its GHG emissions report as part of its annual sustainability statement which is released each March. GHG reporting for 2024 and 2025 will be part of the report due in early March 2026.
