The LEGO Group unveils trailer for the first ever live-action LEGO® Friends: Heartlake The Musical

BILLUND, DENMARK, 09 OCTOBER 2026: Today, the LEGO Group released the trailer for LEGO Friends: Heartlake The Musical, its first-ever LEGO Friends-inspired live-action special. The full special premieres on 16 October on the LEGO Group’s YouTube channel.

Following its premiere on the LEGO YouTube channel on 16 October, LEGO Friends: Heartlake The Musical will reach audiences globally through a network of broadcast and streaming partners, including Netflix, Peacock, Tubi, RTL and AMC Networks in select markets.

LEGO Friends: Heartlake The Musical explores the LEGO Friends universe in a 50-minute adventure that follows Daisy (played by Jada Langley), a bright and creative teenager navigating a big move and her sense of belonging.

Executive produced by acclaimed director Kenny Ortega, produced by Final Pixel, and directed and choreographed by renowned filmmaker Paul Becker, LEGO Friends: Heartlake The Musical celebrates the power of friendship, creativity and self-expression through an uplifting story filled with music, heart and adventure.

Featuring four original songs written exclusively for the musical, the special brings beloved LEGO Friends characters from brick to screen for the first time in a live-action adaptation. Spectacular performances, dynamic choreography and cutting-edge virtual production technology from Final Pixel transform Heartlake City into a vibrant live-action world inspired by the stories, characters and locations fans know and love.

Since launching in 2012, LEGO Friends has grown into one of the LEGO Group's most beloved home-grown franchises, extending beyond physical play through animated series, digital content, books and experiences that have connected with audiences around the world. From the brick, to the screen and beyond, enter the world of LEGO Friends at the Unicorn Café
From 29-31 October, fans can step into a life-sized Unicorn Café and experience a LEGO Friends set brought to life, located at Potters Field Park, in London. The pop-up experience is also inspired by one of the musical's most magical locations, so fans can experience the digital, physical, and life-size Unicorn Café all at once.

Visitors can enjoy fun interactive spaces inspired by the LEGO Friends universe, as well as Heartlake The Musical. They will be able to attend exclusive musical screenings, get hands-on with LEGO Friends building challenges, create their own take-home builds, shareable photo moments, and explore themed spaces, inspired by beloved Heartlake City locations.

Whether singing along to songs from the musical, unleashing their creativity through play or spending time with family and friends, the Unicorn Café will be an unforgettable LEGO Friends experience for fans of all ages.
