When Renjith Raj, Senior Operations Manager for India, joined the LEGO Group three and a half years ago, he stepped into one of the world's fastest growing and most dynamic markets. Today, he's helping shape the future of the business in India while ensuring more children can experience the power of play.

"My journey at the LEGO Group has been incredibly dynamic and fulfilling, says Renjith. Over time, my role has evolved from managing day-to-day operations to thinking much more strategically about how we prepare the business for future growth."

Working in a high-growth market means balancing business ambitions, regulatory requirements and changing customer demand, often all at once. It's a role that requires agility, collaboration and the ability to anticipate what's around the corner.

One of Renjith's proudest achievements has been leading the implementation of automated supply planning for the India Business Unit. The project was much more than a technology upgrade. It required teams across sourcing, logistics, distribution and planning to work together to improve processes, reduce lead times and build stronger foundations for growth.

"The successful implementation of automated supply planning improved agility, planning visibility and product availability for the market, he explains. It also helped align India more closely with regional and global LEGO® processes."

For Renjith, the project is a perfect example of what makes the LEGO Group special.

"This never could have happened without the One LEGO Team approach, he says. People came together across functions and regions to solve challenges and create the best outcome for the business."

That spirit of collaboration is one of the biggest reasons he enjoys his role. Whether working with colleagues in sales, marketing, finance, compliance or supply chain, he is continually inspired by how people come together around shared goals.

"What surprised me most is how teams collaborate proactively to keep the business future-ready, he says. Challenges never feel like an individual's responsibility. They become shared opportunities to learn, innovate and improve together."

The role has also helped him grow as a leader. Alongside overseeing areas such as demand planning, logistics, customer service and operational transformation, Renjith has learned how to lead through complexity and influence across functions and markets.

"I've learned that leadership is not only about processes and strategy, he says. It's about creating an environment where people feel empowered, supported and connected to a shared purpose."

That sense of purpose is what makes him most proud to work at the LEGO Group.

"I feel proud to represent a brand with almost 100 years of history in bringing the joy of play to children across generations, he says. Knowing that the work we do ultimately helps bring smiles to millions of children makes the journey incredibly rewarding."

Looking ahead, Renjith is excited by the opportunities still to come. As India continues to grow, he sees enormous potential to build new capabilities, strengthen operations and help make LEGO play experiences available to even more children.

"What excites me most is the opportunity to build something that will have a lasting impact, he says. As India continues to be a key growth market, I'm excited to help create a future-ready supply chain that can support our ambitions for years to come."
