Our packing facility in Chesterfield County, Virginia, has been open since 2023 and continues to grow as we welcome new team members.

Just a few miles down the road, construction of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Meadowville Technology Park is well underway. Scheduled to open in 2027, the factory will combine molding and packing capabilities designed to deliver the highest levels of quality and precision, with sustainability at its core. A closer look at manufacturing in Virginia

At the moment our focus is packing. Our team boxes up the finished packs ready to go to stores in the region and beyond. However, as we grow over the coming years we’ll be molding LEGO bricks too – melting plastic at 440 to 590 °F and then injecting it at pressures of up to 2,000 bars.

Molding
We produce LEGO® bricks with the highest levels of quality and precision. Using advanced molding technology and processes, our teams work together to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.
Packing
We handle the packing of millions of LEGO bricks into bags. Our operation is spread across two main areas – PrePack and Final Pack. Across both areas, we aim for the highest levels of quality, safety and support.
Logistics
It takes a lot of materials and resources to keep our operation moving. In this team, we make sure everything is received, stored, supplied and shipped to the highest possible standards.
Engineering
We ensure the site’s equipment and production processes are safe, reliable and able to deliver an awesome end product. Our three main areas – Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Novelties & Machine Safety Group – work together to make this happen.
Maintenance
The team here does an awesome job of keeping our people safe and our production departments running smoothly. They take care of our equipment and machinery, solve problems and carry out repairs. Working with all kinds of different technologies and operating systems, they’re always on hand to fix issues as they arise.
Training
Our focus is to help everyone here, whatever their job, to build their skills and become even better at what they do. We develop initiatives and deliver training to help all of us grow.
