Job Description

Join us as a Regional Health & Safety Manager, where you'll lead innovative EHS initiatives across APAC’s LEGO Discovery Centers, ensuring compliance, inspiring teams, and driving global safety standards in a dynamic and creative environment.
Note:
This position will start off as a temporary hire with the opportunity to become a regular hire.
Relocation will not be available for this position.
The position can be either based in Singapore or Shanghai depends on the employee location.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and maintenance of global EHS frameworks and processes at a local level.
Ensure compliance with local legislation, third-party reports, and LEGO standards.
Support and inspire employees within APAC’s LEGO Discovery Centers to live the EHS vision.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement control measures.
Act as an Incident Handler by supporting the reporting and investigation of injuries and near misses.
Design and deliver educational EHS campaigns and training locally.
Undertake local EHS site visits, inspections, and audits as necessary.

As part of the Global EHS team, the Regional Health & Safety Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the wellbeing of employees at LEGO Discovery Centers across APAC. By implementing global EHS frameworks and maintaining compliance with local standards, the role supports the broader organization in achieving its mission to deliver exceptional experiences while prioritizing employee safety.
Collaborating with regional and global teams, the manager drives continuous improvement and alignment of safety standards, ensuring that every LEGO Discovery Center operates smoothly and safely. This position not only supports local leadership in setting strategic EHS directions but also contributes to global projects, enhancing the overall safety culture within the LEGO Group.
Do you have what it takes?
Experience in developing and implementing EHS systems in complex business structures.
Must have:
Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and incident management.
Proven ability to work independently and drive projects forward.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to inspire and support teams.
Experience in compliance with local legislation and global standards.
Willingness to travel within APAC for site visits and audits.
Nice to have:
Multi-state EHS experience with regulations and compliance
Previous experience in the entertainment or leisure/hospitality industry, particularly with theme parks or attractions.
ASP/CSP certification or actively working towards obtaining
Experience in leading global EHS projects and initiatives.
Prior experience managing contractors
Project management and general technology skills
