If you ask Gabe how he got here, it all begins with a love of stories.
With a background in Film & Video Studies and a passion for production and editing, Gabe has always been drawn to storytelling. Today, as a Content Creative Manager, at Our LEGO Agency (OLA) Boston, he’s spent over a decade helping bring LEGO® ideas to life - building not only with bricks, but with creativity, curiosity, and connection.

Like many, Gabe was first drawn to the LEGO Group by its reputation - one that makes people light up at the mere mention of its name. But it’s not the brand alone that’s kept him here for 13 years. It’s the people.
“I get to work with amazing people every day,” Gabe shares, “I’ve built real friendships here.”
In a place where creativity thrives, connection matters just as much as the work itself and for Gabe, that’s what makes every day meaningful.
Gabe’s journey at the LEGO Group has been anything but static. As the organisation has evolved, so has he.
Starting with developing global campaigns and building digital experiences, Gabe has explored everything from online content and website design to social media and local marketing initiatives. Along the way, he’s continued to grow - learning new tools, new technologies, and even new ways to tell stories in a constantly changing world.
Because here, growth isn’t just encouraged - it’s part of the build.
“I've gotten to flex a range of skills in my time here, but also learn new ones to support my growth within OLA. Whether it’s learning about AI technology, or motion graphics, or something else entirely, there’s space for anyone to develop in new ways if they want to.”

One of Gabe’s most memorable experiences didn’t happen in a meeting room or on set - it happened in a classroom.
After some gentle encouragement from his mum, a teacher, he joined a call with her students to talk about what it’s like to work at the LEGO Group. What started as a reluctant “yes” turned into a moment he’ll never forget.
Seeing their excitement, their smiles, their sense of wonder - it reminded him just how powerful this work can be.
“To them, I was very cool,” he laughs. “To my kids…not so much haha!”
Like any creative journey, there are challenges. But Gabe doesn’t face them alone. At OLA, teamwork isn’t just a value - it’s a way of working.
“When something unexpected comes up, we don’t have to solve it alone,” he says. “We manage it together.”
That shared mindset turns challenges into opportunities - and brings teams closer along the way. For Gabe, one truth guides everything he does:
"We work for a toy company! If the work we're doing isn't rooted in fun and creativity, what's the point? We get to be grown-up kids - what's better than that?!"
It’s a reminder that creativity and fun aren’t just part of the job - they’re the heart of it. Whether he’s creating content seen by millions or experimenting with new tools like AI and motion design, there’s always space to explore, learn, and play.

And that spirit of play is balanced by something equally important: care.
From flexible working to a supportive culture, Gabe has always felt empowered to be both a great teammate and a present family member - proving that the best builds are the ones that support the whole person.
“There’s a culture here of care and support that makes joining the company a little less daunting than maybe some other agencies and hopefully a lot more fun.”
When Gabe first encountered the LEGO brand framework, and spirit, that “Only the best is good enough,” it felt ambitious - maybe even a little intimidating. But over time, it became something else: a promise.
A reminder that the work matters. That the stories we tell reach millions. And that every detail deserves care and creativity.
“The work we do really does means a lot to a lot of people, so we owe it to them to put our best into everything we do."
If Gabe could leave future colleagues with one thought, it would be simple:
“You get to work for one of the best brands in the world. Yes, it can be challenging. But at the heart of it all is something special - an invitation to have fun, to experiment, and to build something meaningful.”
Because at the LEGO Group, imagination isn’t just something you talk about. It’s something you live - every single day.
