About the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot Inventor app

LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot Inventor is a new play experience that links hands-on building with digital coding. The drag and drop programming inside the Robot Inventor app is passed onto the programmable hub to bring your creations to life. No matter which device you use, the app’s design, programming and functionality are the same.

The Robot Inventor app is required to use the set as there’s no on-hub programming function.
 

System requirements

The LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor app is available for iOS, macOS, Fire OS, Android and Windows    devices and will provide the same experience no matter which device you use. The app includes everything you need for instructions, coding and remote control functionality. This also means that you can save your project on one device, share it to another and reopen it to pick up right where you left off.
 

Languages

The LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor App is available in English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.
 

Bluetooth

The LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor hub uses Bluetooth Classic, which means that it can connect to devices using Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0 and up.
