International Day of Play

For over 90 years, the LEGO Group has championed the transformative role of play in children’s lives. We were one of the organisations that successfully called on the United Nations to adopt the International Day of Play - a day dedicated to championing and protecting every child’s right to play. First celebrated in 2024 and marked annually on 11 June, we now celebrate the International Day of Play, alongside children, families and communities around the world.

Today, we’re continuing to bring playful learning experiences to more children and communities around the world, supporting every child’s right to play.
This year, we’re on a mission to help reverse the growing play deficit affecting families globally.
