Job Description
Are you ready to lead the LEGO® Group business across 2 diverse and highly dynamic markets? We are looking for a commercially minded General Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of the LEGO® Group business across Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Core responsibilities:
Deliver business KPI targets as defined in the annual plan
Establish a sustainable growth platform for the LEGO® brand in Hong Kong (including Macau) & Taiwan Market
Lead the Sales Team to establish strong partnerships with customers and align initiatives with LEGO® business strategies to drive growth.
Oversee approximately 45 employees across various functions, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Analytics, Insights, and Human Resources.
Guide Marketing and Operations teams in aligning commercial strategies with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture.
Grow active consumer base through our core themes, boost recruitment through innovation and expand further in our various user categories
Create a roadmap for long term success with clear steps and a strong focus on short term wins
Understand the complex and competitive condition of Hong Kong (including Macau) & Taiwan Toy market and build bridges with LEGO® business strategies to deliver on our ambitions
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, industry leaders and regulatory bodies
Build, motivate, empower and lead a strong local team already in place to deliver on our ambitions
Cultivate a solid team culture that embodies LEGO® values and connects LEGO® Hong Kong & Taiwan with global operations to develop local talent.
Strengthen a diverse talent pipeline for future leadership roles within the business unit and the broader organisation.

The General Manager will be part of the Asia Pacific Leadership team and represent the local subsidiary of the LEGO® Group (LEGO® Hong Kong and Taiwan Ltd.), reporting directly to the Regional President APAC Market Group.
Leading all business strategy planning and execution in the market, the successful applicant will bring leadership as both a business expert and people leader, driving our ambition to deliver sustainable business growth with strong active share to reach more children in both BU’s.
Do you have what it takes?
Strong experience and a proven track record on business performance and leadership in a similar General Manager position or from within Sales & Marketing
Experience working in a global context, working internationally or with international companies/brands. Work experience within Asia and Hong Kong and Taiwan is a key advantage
Previous/current P&L responsibility and longer-term planning (able to work with a 3-year planning horizon)
Strong stakeholder management capability especially developing trusted relationship with local external business partners with deep understanding of cultural and business custom of the market
Strong strategic acumen combined with a high level of self-motivation, persistence, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Depth of leadership, with consistent experience in building teams and capabilities
Experience working collaboratively in matrix organisations, aligned to the LEGO® Brand Framework, role modelling processes and governance to ensure HK and Taiwan play a leading role within APAC MG.
Strong communication skills and ability create followership
