Explore the LEGO® Harry Potter™ The Ministry of Magic™

Welcome to the LEGO® Harry Potter™ The Ministry of Magic™

For every adult Harry Potter™ fan who ever wondered where they’d end up in the wizarding world, this is it. Not Hogwarts. Not Diagon Alley. The Ministry of Magic™.

The place where the real work happens, where careers are made, where you can finally put your proven track record of stakeholder management and Dark Arts disruption to good use. The dream, frankly. Now you can build it! All three levels of it.

Get ready for your first day at the LEGO® Harry Potter™ The Ministry of Magic™ - Collectors’ Edition set. Three levels packed with details from the movies, 14 minifigures and even an exclusive Lynx Patronus™.

Ah, you’re here. Wonderful. Today’s your first day, right? Please state your name for the record, surrender any unregistered magical objects and try not to make eye contact with the Aurors. Your badge has been issued. Please keep it visible at all times.

Here we are at Muggle™ London. Perfectly ordinary. See that red telephone box over there? It’s one of the entrances to the Ministry of Magic™. Feel free to step inside the box and dial 62442. The rotating mechanism will take care of the rest, dropping you smoothly from the streets of Westminster straight into the Ministry below.

Wait, before we head down, there’s something that I’d like to show you. Do you recognise this space? This is where Harry, Hermione and Ron knocked back their Polyjuice Potion to disguise themselves as Ministry of Magic™ employees, before slipping inside undetected. Brilliant plan. Mostly worked.

Over here on the far right, there’s the second entrance. Yes, the Gentlemen’s restroom. Don’t worry, the lever will send you directly through the fireplace into the Ministry below. I know what you’re thinking, but just go with it. Down we go.

We’re in! Welcome to the Ministry of Magic™. This is level 9. Our first stop is on your left: Arthur Weasley’s office. Yes, he has been collecting these Muggle™ artefacts for years and is extremely proud of every single one of them. Please don’t touch anything, he’ll notice!

Let’s continue, shall we? Across the corridor is Dolores Umbridge’s office. Yes, it’s pink… very pink with the kitten plates and bows. If you feel a sudden urge to assign detention, that’s normal.

This internal lift connects all the floors. Use it as much as you can; it’s much faster and more convenient than using the stairs. Follow me, let me show you how it works. Just press the level 8 button.

We’re now on level 8. Yes, this is the Atrium. Take your time, there’s a lot to take in. Let’s start with the iconic fountain at the centre. Be careful with the interdepartmental memos, they’re on their way to somewhere important.

You’ve probably already noticed it; that’s a banner with Minister Cornelius Fudge’s face. In case you’re wondering, this is where the duel between Albus Dumbledore™ and Lord Voldemort™ took place. The whole wizarding world could no longer look away after that.

Just through here, there’s the courtroom where Harry Potter™ faced his disciplinary hearing on August 12th with the full Wizengamot assembled and Arabella Figg as a witness. She did brilliantly, under the circumstances.

Now, follow me carefully. Welcome to the Hall of Prophecy. Please don’t touch the orbs. Be careful, each row contains a Prophecy Record. This is one of the most extraordinary rooms in the entire Department of Mysteries. It’s where the battle between Dumbledore’s Army and the Death Eaters took place. During that battle, a significant number of orbs were lost. Don’t worry, we’ve restocked. Several times.

This way, please. At the far end of the Hall, there’s The Veil. It’s a mysterious archway, a barrier between the living and whatever lies beyond. It has a gravity that is hard to explain but impossible to ignore. We find it best not to linger.

Your tour is complete. This is your work desk, please keep it tidy. Oh, when you’re finished for the day, the telephone box will bring you back up.
