Make sandwiches for your LEGO® Pokémon™

Make a sandwich for LEGO® Pokémon™!

It’s hungry work being the very best! So, for this family activity, we’re going to take a break from training to feed up our hungry LEGO® Pokémon!

You can do this challenge with any LEGO bricks you have available. For best results, you’ll
want a SMART Brick from a SMART Play™ All-in-One set, and at least one LEGO Pokémon SMART Play set.

Step 1: Gather your sandwich ingredients!

Get creative on this! You can use any materials you like to make your sandwich.

You can use different colored paper, pens, and pencils. For all keen LEGO builders in your family, use some spare LEGO bricks to make a brick-built treat.

Top tip: Whatever you use, make it nice and colorful!

Step 2: Make your fillings!

Make your versions of bread, lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, or any other fillings you can imagine.

Top tip: To spark your kids’ imaginations, get them to think about what their favorite LEGO Pokémon would most like to eat... and then use it as a sandwich topping! The sillier the better!

Step 3: Sandwich... assemble!

It’s time to make your LEGO Pokémon treat. Don’t feel limited by just one building material.
It’s your sandwich, your rules!

Top tip: For a bit of extra fun, have a mini competition to see who can make the tallest sandwich.

Step 4: Build your sandwich

Layer your ingredients together and place the top slice of bread on top.

Step 5: Add some SMART Play fun!

Place the sandwich SMART Tag from the SMART Play: Training House with Pikachu (72164) set onto your culinary creation to activate your SMART Brick’s responsive sounds and lights!

If you have different LEGO Pokémon SMART Play sets, you can compare and contrast the different sounds each Pokémon makes as they chow down on the delicious meals you serve them.

Whose family member’s sandwiches does each Pokémon like best? The SMART Brick will light up in different colors depending on the Pokémon’s reaction! If the SMART Brick turns green, your Pokémon will start munching happily. If it turns red... no dramas! Simply build a new one and try again!

Top tip: If you don’t have the LEGO Pokémon SMART Play version of your kids’ favorite Pokémon... get your kids to build a version of it yourself and add in their own sound effects!
