LEGO® CITY STUNTZ CONTEST
- Contest
(a) “LEGO® City Stuntz Contest” (the “Contest”) is a digital competition promoting the LEGO® City Stuntz™ playsets.
(b) The Contest is organised by LEGO Singapore Pte Ltd (“LEGO Singapore”) and managed by GOODSTUPH Private Limited (“GOODSTUPH”).
- Eligibility
(a) The Contest is open to any individual who fulfil the following conditions (collectively the “Participants” and each a “Participant”):
(i) a Participant must be a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or Long-Term Pass Holder (including student pass or dependent pass) aged 18 years and above and residing in Singapore;
(ii) a Participant must not be an employee of LEGO Singapore, any of its affiliate or any of its advertising agencies, an employee of GOODSTUPH or any of its affiliates, an immediate family member of any such employee, or anyone else connected with the Contest; and
(iii) a Participant must have a contest partner aged between 5 and 12 years who has agreed on a voluntary basis to be part of the Contest as described in paragraph 4(b) below (the “Player”).
(b) GOODSTUPH reserves the sole and absolute right to assess and determine the eligibility of each Participant, and may require such information and documents as it considers necessary for the purposes of verifying the eligibility of an entry.
(c) GOODSTUPH also reserves the right to disqualify any Participant without assigning any reason whatsoever.
- Contest Period
The Contest will take place from 1 November 2021 (00:00) to 30 November 2021 (23:59) both dates inclusive (the “Contest Period”). Any submission after the Contest Period shall be disqualified and rejected automatically.
- Contest Mechanics
(a) The Contest will be conducted via Facebook and Instagram under the contest hashtag #LEGOCityStuntzSG.
(b) To enter a submission for the Contest, a Participant must:
(i) Film a video of the Player playing with the LEGO® City Stuntz Bike, showcasing the Player’s most creative and exciting stunts created using the LEGO® City Stuntz Bike.
(ii) Upload the video on the Participant’s Facebook or Instagram account with hashtag #LEGOCityStuntzSG and privacy set to Public.
(c) Any submission not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions will be invalid and disqualified by GOODSTUPH.
- Selection of Winners
(a) Out of all eligible Participants whose submissions qualify, 3 winners shall be selected by LEGO Singapore in its sole and absolute discretion (collectively the “Winners” and each a “Winner”) based on the following criteria:
(i) Number of likes on the posted video on Facebook or Instagram (as the case may be); and
(ii) Level of creativity and excitement as shown in the video.
(b) All decisions made by LEGO Singapore in relation to the selection of Winners shall be final, conclusive and binding on all Participants and Players and non-negotiable.
(c) The Winners will be contacted via social media direct message by GOODSTUPH by no later than 10 working days after the end of the Contest Period. A Winner may be required by GOODSTUPH to verify his/her and/or his/her Player’s age and/or identity.
(d) The award of a Prize is subject to acceptance by the Winner. If a Winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to GOODSTUPH within 10 working days of GOODSTUPH’s email, or fails to provide the required verification(s), the Winner is deemed to have waived his/her right to the Prize. LEGO Singapore has the right to select a supplementary Winner at its sole and absolute discretion. All decisions of LEGO Singapore in this regard are final and binding on all Participants and Players.
- Prizes and Conditions on the Prizes
(a) Each pair of Participant and Player is eligible to win only one (1) prize.
(b) Each Winner will be eligible to win only one (1) Winner’s Prize (Total Retail Value: $349.40 SGD) consisting of the following products:
(i) LEGO CITY STUNTZ Stunt Park (Product 60293)
(ii) LEGO CITY STUNTZ Stunt Show Truck (Product 60294)
(iii) LEGO CITY STUNTZ Stunt Show Arena (Product 60295)
(iv) LEGO CITY STUNTZ Demolition Stunt Bike (Product 60297)
(v) LEGO CITY STUNTZ Rocket Stunt Bike (Product 60298)
(vi) LEGO CITY STUNTZ Stunt Competition (Product 60299)
(c) All Prizes will be sent via courier upon verification and provision of necessary information for delivery. Neither GOODSTUPH nor LEGO Singapore shall be liable for the non-receipt of the prizes.
(d) GOODSTUPH reserves its sole and absolute discretion to replace and substitute any and all the Prizes with any other prizes of equivalent or similar values, at any time without prior notice. GOODSTUPH accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any variation and substitution of the Prizes and its values.
(e) All Prizes are not transferable and are not exchangeable for cash, credit, or other items in part or in full. GOODSTUPH shall not be responsible for any Prize in any event of loss, theft, damage etc after it has been delivered to a Winner.
- General
(a) By participating in the Contest, each Participant:
(i) warrants and represents the truth and accuracy of all information and documents submitted to GOODSTUPH in relation to the Contest;
(ii) warrants and represents that all elements contained in the submission:
(A) are and/or will be original to the Participant and the Participant’s Player and fully cleared for use as contemplated for the Contest;
(B) do and will not, in any way, violate or breach any of the terms of any other agreement the Participant and/or the Builder may be a party to;
(C) are not unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, invasive of another’s privacy, harassing, defamatory, slanderous, tortious, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racist or otherwise offensive or objectionable to any other person or entity;
(D) do not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark or other right (including the full spectrum of intellectual property rights), or contain any matter the publication or sale of which will violate any law, including federal or state statute or regulation; and
(E) shall not require GOODSTUPH to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity as a result of GOODSTUPH’s use or exploitation of the same;
(iii) unconditionally and irrevocably grants LEGO Singapore and its group of companies an exclusive right, and perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to post, display, publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify the videos uploaded in accordance with paragraph 4(b) above to the public in all media including social media for promotional and marketing purposes in connection with the Contest only without further reference, compensation or payment to the Participants; and
(iv) agrees to provide his/her and his/her Player’s personal data and/or information to GOODSTUPH for verification, contact, products delivery and/or services in connection with the Contest only. All Participants understand and agree that
GOODSTUPH may in connection with the Contest only collect, use and/or disclose such personal data and/or information provided for promotional and marketing activities via email, push notification and/or SMS, administration, feedback, surveys, market research, delivery of products by GOODSTUPH service providers or independent contractors, individualised services and/or disclose them to LEGO Singapore-related corporations in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. The Participant further agrees to the Contest Privacy Policy set out at https://www.lego.com/en-sg/news/2021/nov/contest/CityStuntzContest
(b) Any of the Participant’s and his/her Player’s personal data and/or information collected for the purposes of the Contest will not be retained by GOODSTUPH or LEGO Singapore beyond the completion of the Contest (the “Retention Period”). A Participant may withdraw consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of the Participant’s and his/her Player’s personal data and/or information at any time during the Retention Period by notice in writing to GOODSTUPH data protection officer(s) at [email protected]. Any withdrawal of consent by a Participant to any collection, use or disclosure of such personal data and/or information will amount to an immediate withdrawal of the Participant’s submission for the Contest.
(c) In accepting the Prize, each Winner:
(i) agrees on his/her own behalf and on behalf of his/her Player to be featured in any LEGO Singapore collateral for publicity and announcement purposes in connection with the Contest only;
(ii) acknowledges that LEGO Singapore may post news or updates about the Contest and the Winners on its website and through other social media websites. However, LEGO Singapore is under no obligation to post content about the Winner and makes no representation and provides no guarantee as to when such content may be generated or published; and
(iii) acknowledges and understands that he/she is responsible for any tax payable in respect of the Prize.
(d) All personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred or to be incurred to participate in the Contest or after the Contest are the sole responsibility of the Participants.
(e) The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or any other social media network.
(f) LEGO Singapore reserves its rights to amend, vary, modify, change, suspend, cancel, extend, remove or delete any terms and conditions of the Contest at any time without prior notice and in any dispute arising out of this Contest, the decision made by LEGO Singapore shall be final and binding onto the parties of the dispute. LEGO Singapore and GOODSTUPH shall not be held liable to compensate and/or indemnify any Participant for any loss and damages in any manner whatsoever in connection with the Contest directly and/or indirectly.
(g) The laws of Singapore shall govern the terms and conditions of the Contest. The Participants agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for all matters arising from or in relation to the Contest.
