    Wrong piece but good set

    I bought this set today and was excited to build it. A little ways through I realized that one of the pieces was missing. I realized it was there but the front was brown instead of black. I did some research and found out I really did have the wrong piece! This is supposedly a rare occurrence which has never before happened to me. It is a slight difference and I’ll probably just have to go with it. I finished the set and it looks very nice. If you like the Speed Champions then I do recommend this set to you. It’s new and bigger than the ones before it. Also I’m not sure what number piece the brown one is so I’ll have to look into it.Thank you for reading this review.

    I have been looking all over for this and finally found it at a Target in a remote part of Sacramento. Got it home and started building. Fairly easy/average build, but the joy was in seeing the details come to life. Really, the detailing is awesome for such a small build. It looks fantastic and rides smooth.

    If I were reviewing this solely on Alessandro's hair it would be a 6 stars out of 5. It truly pains me that I have to knock one star off though for reasons I will explain down below... It's because Alessandro's hair is so amazing the top of the car can't close when he's sitting in it with his magnificent hair on (see attached picture)!!! Fun build overall though! - Spooky

    8 stud, what a pity!

    Having nearly every Speed Champion, I’ve eagerly waited for the new 8 stud kits to arrive. This Ferrari looks OK but what a pity; the steering wheel is not in the centre of the driver. His arm also rests on the dash too and can not be lowered. Worst yet, the minifigures hair can not be fitted while he’s in the car as the screen/roof will not fit on. The wheels on the new 8 stud Speed Champions look just a tad too small. Now some might say the 6 stud cars’ wheels are too big but that is the cartoon look about them, I like. Overall I guess the build does look good. The new 8 stud design just needs some refining.
