What’s a group of penguins called?

If you ask your kid this question, they’ll probably reply “Lisa, Peter and their friends”, or something to that effect. (You can’t beat kids’ logic.) In our grown-up world, however, someone once decided to call it a colony, a rookery or a waddle - if the group is on land. In the ocean, it’s called a raft.

What animals live in the jungle?

“Dr. LEGOstone, I presume?” Jungles and rainforests are home to some of the world’s most brightly colored, dangerous, elusive, and exotic animals that capture your imagination. How did they come to look like that? And what if YOU lived in the jungle among all these amazing creatures? From birds, frogs, fish and snakes to monkeys, big cats, and antelopes, it’s a mysterious world full of new discoveries - just waiting to be made.

3 fun polar bear facts – the LEGO way…

Did you know?

A polar bear can swim up to 100 miles in one go – that’s longer than 5 million 2x4 LEGO bricks lined up end to end.

A male polar bear can be up to 10 feet tall when standing in upright position. That’s about 158 LEGO DUPLO bricks stacked on top of each other.

It can weigh up to 1,700 pounds – more than 265,000 minifigures!

How do Arctic animals stay warm?

Some kids like to wrap their cold-climate toy animals in scarves and sweaters to keep them warm. In real life, animals that live in freezing temperatures, like penguins, seals, and polar bears, have a healthy layer of insulating blubber that does the job perfectly.

Laundry pile or tropical island?

If you can find THIS in a laundry pile, what other wild animals could be hiding in plain sight in YOUR home?

Hungry Bear!

Hop in the police helicopter and prepare to make a LEGO City 60173 Mountain Arrest! Look, there in that opening. is that a crook... in the tub?! Load the net shooter while you hover over the hideout and the other police officer rappels down beside the surprised crook. Go a bit lower and aim the net at the other crook trying to escape in the buggy. Oh no, watch out for that hungry bear looking for honey!

Let your kids go WILD

Wild animal toys give your young explorer a fantastic opportunity to unleash their inner wild child. No one ever tells a lion to tidy their room, or a shark to stop splashing in the bathtub – sorry, when it’s on the hunt. They can be as wild and dangerous as they want to be. The louder, the better!

Or maybe your child dreams of taking care of elephants, tigers and monkeys at a zoo or a wildlife shelter? With LEGO® wild animal sets, your child can act out any wildlife story and travel to exotic places anywhere in the world they can imagine – the jungle, the savanna, the seven seas, or in their own imaginary worlds.
