Top LEGO® Adventure Sets for Kids

Does your kid like to run, continue to run and never stop running? Does their playtime take them on wildly thrilling narratives that venture through time and space? Sounds like this holiday season, you need some LEGO® sets that will keep up with them…

That’s where we can help. These adventure-based sets will appeal to your child’s inner daredevil and keep them enthralled with thrilling narratives of their own creation.

If it sounds like a lot, it is. So take a deep breath, and let’s dive into our top LEGO adventure sets for kids!

    BARC Speeder™ Escape (75378)

It’s an article about adventure, so of course we’re going to start with LEGO Star Wars™!

The BARC Speeder zooms to us directly from Star Wars: The Mandalorian™ Season 3, and hopping on that bike and sidecar are some Clone Troopers, multicolor Lightsaber™-wielding Kelleran Beq, and a certain adorable Force-sensitive being known as Grogu to some (and perhaps as ‘Baby Yoda’ to fans like you).

Expect this speeder to be taken on several high-speed tours of your home by your kid, as they speed to their next adventures…

Kai’s Ninja Climber Mech (71812) and Cole’s Elemental Earth Mech (71806)

It’s mech time. Nothing seems to inspire the minds of an adventure-loving kid quite like a jumbo-sized suit designed for thrilling fight scenes. Funny that…

These iconic builds have left quite the footprint in the LEGO NINJAGO® world (literally) and give kids the chance to replay their favorite moments, with their favorite characters, from the heart-stopping drama of the smash-hit TV series.

    Suit up.

    The Dark Falcon (75389)

In the best adventures, you never quite know where you’ll end up. But after LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy™ premiered on Disney+… we have NO IDEA where we’re ending up!

The core premise of the animated ‘four-piece’ special is that everything you thought you knew about Star Wars has been flipped on its head. We’re talking Jedi Vader, Ewok Bounty Hunters, and Darth Jar Jar (whose line “Meesa gonna hurt yousa” goes insanely hard). It also has The Dark Falcon, which has flown its way into the LEGO Star Wars collection!

Expect every plotline to be questioned, explored and reimagined. You might not be able to guess the story arc, but you can bet on a whole heap of adventure turned upside down.

    Paz Vizsla™ and Moff Gideon™ Battle (75386)

You don’t always need lots of bricks for lots of adventure. This building set inspired by Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 proves our point rather nicely, thankyouverymuch. With just 289 pieces, there’s a lot more adventure hidden within these bricks than first meets the eye. Does that turret rotate? Does it actually shoot out bricks? Is that door armored?

The Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron (76291)

Assemble an Avengers adventure (try saying that 5 times quickly) with this superhero-packed set! The only barrier your little one will have to face is which adventure they pick first! Will it be a smashing picnic with Hulk, a flight around the block with Iron Man or a drive with Black Widow? How about all of them, and more?

Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin (76279)

Swing into some serious Spidey action with this 4-wheeled romp! Expect pumpkins to be dodged, skateboards to be skateboarded and (of course) plenty of webs to be made. Because how else are you gonna stop the baddies?

Sound effects are NOT included, but we think that somehow your child will find a way to include them in their playtime… somehow…

    Tournament Battle Arena (71818)

So it all comes down to this…

Fans of the latest season of the NINJAGO saga (LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising) will have followed the story with bated breath, which led to our heroes testing their skills in the famed Tournament of Sources. Here, the best ninja of the land were pitted against each other in a knockout tournament style to win the ultimate prize.

Now, your kid can relive, replay and reinvent the stories for themselves, using the 6 minifigures included, plus any more they have lying around.

Who wins? Your kid. Definitely your kid.

Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea (75385)

And let’s finish where we started, in the Star Wars galaxy.

This nifty set – based on the popular Star Wars: Ahsoka™ series – is crammed with action-inducing features to give players a chance to add some dynamism to their adventures. Expect spinning floors, spring-powered leap functions and Lightsabers™.
