Now that's history, that's heritage, that's special. Yes you can decorate it and customise it - if you're brave enough - but it's more than just a Lego set or Lego piece; even our prized UCS Millennium Falcons. It's acknowledging a brand and their history; which in turn celebrates our love for that brand and the joy it has given us and generations of our families. That's how I see this, and it was a pleasure to attend the VIP World Launch in London, where, if I do ever pluck up the courage, I received plenty of inspiration from the decorated versions in the gallery. Now, what would look good next to this minifigure? Ah, how about that iconic wooden duck?!Play Experience3.0Value for Money5.0Building Experience: Expert LEGO builderWas this helpful?55LEGO® Wooden Minifigure
- November 8th, 2019Average rating2out of 5 stars2.0NO ARTICULATION - Overpriced woodI bought this item as it was a cool addition to a mini figure collection - as it's an interesting scale, limited item, and unique. However, when it arrived I was heavily disappointed in the item. Nowhere on the website does it state that the arms and legs don't articulate. I was happy to pay $150 CAD for the item, but not when it arrived as a glued together piece of wood. I'm pretty disappointed after the item arrived, and I wouldn't buy it again. So if you're looking at purchasing the item, keep in mind that none of the arms and legs move - something that LEGO doesn't tell you.11 November 2019Emily, Customer ServiceThanks for your review. We're sorry to hear about the confusion. The only articulation is in the hands, which is why they're called out specifically in the description as moving like a traditional minifigure.Play Experience1.0Value for Money1.0Was this helpful?25LEGO® Wooden Minifigure

I was excited to buy this lego piece and it wasn't till I opened the box and felt the wood that I knew I had to send it back because its made of wood. Lego have used FSC-certified oak which is great but i just couldn't keep it... I love the planet more and I am a trees hugger Lego, I love what you do!! but please if you are going to celebrate an ‘original’ do it with a revolutionary 21st century material not wood. You are one of the most phenomenal company's in the world please lead the charge to love the planet. sent with love
Response from LEGO SHOP13 November 2019Emily, Customer ServiceThanks for your review. With this minifigure, we've gone back to our roots - our very first toys were made out of wood. For this throwback, we wanted to ensure that we're living up to our Planet Promise. We've chosen wood certified by the FSC, which requires strict standards for forest management and sustainability. We're also always working towards reducing our environmental impact in other ways, like using renewable energy, recycling, and developing alternative, sustainable ways to make our products. - December 1st, 2019Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Beautiful Nostalgia with a Touch of ModernI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfIt seems to me that LEGO has opened up a whole new category for what they can offer with this piece. As mom to a lifelong LEGO builder, and also having grown up with LEGO myself, this little fig touches my heart. It is an exquisite piece of lovely woodwork which can be displayed as is. It presently sits next to a fine art horse sculpture in my home & holds its own proudly. Given that my son & I used to create wool felt works together when he was a child, I can see adding a little felt vest & hat to the piece for special occasions. The best part about this piece is how it represents the beginnings of LEGO, honoring the beauty of toy making with wood. I will cherish this gift. I look forward to seeing more from LEGO in the form of sustainably produced wooden toys in the future. I welcome the blend of the historical with the modern.
