Explore the New LEGO® Stranger Things Creel House – If You Dare!

Step Inside the LEGO® Creel House If You Dare

Deep breaths, deeeeep breaths! You can do this! It’s just a house – an old, notorious, haunted house with a long history of unsolved disappearances. What’s the worst that could happen? Other than... getting trapped in the Upside Down or worse...  Vecna’s Mind Lair. Why did I agree to this?

Thank goodness you’re here! There’s no way I would have explored the Creel House without you! Mind if I scoot a teeny tiny inch closer to you? Ahh, much better! I know, from the outside, the house looks harmless with its Victorian architecture, steep roof, the central tower, and all those ornate details. But we both know what happened in there. And old, horror gothic manors like the Creel House really scare the bricks out of me! Let me just piece myself back together with a quick breathing exercise before we go inside: in… out… in… out… Okay, go ahead and twist the doorknob. I’ll be right next to…  errm… behind you. On the count of three? One, two, two and a quarteeer, two and a haaalf…. *Creeeaaak*...

Three... Eeek! This hallway is downright terrifying! I mean, aside from that gorgeous stained-glass window on the front door here. Oh my, the details are hauntingly impeccable. But I won't let it mesmerize me! We are in a haunted house, after all. And it would be so naive to think that the telephone right there would have a signal if we (knock on wood, knock on everything) fall into... you know... Vecna’s clutches. Are you really, truly sure you want to keep going? Yes? Oh well... But just so you know, there are seven rooms, including this hallway, across three floors, so statistically we’ll only be terrified in… um… ALL of them. Oh, I see you’re already heading to the next room – WAIT FOR ME!

Hm… is it just me, or does this living room actually look a bit… homey? Antique Victorian aesthetics mixed with contemporary pieces. The couch still looks kind of plush, and there’s even a newspaper on the coffee table. Do you mind going over there to check the headlines? “Stranger Things: The First Shadow”. Yeah... That sounds like unpleasant events. Why couldn’t it be something like “Stranger Things: Everyone Survives and Nothing Is Strange Anymore”? This room could actually be quite cozy, you know, if Vecna wasn’t lurking in every corner, but he is! So, what do you say, shouldn’t we just leave? Oh, you want to see the next room. Humph... of course you do… You go first, then…

Gosh... I think this used to be the dining room, where the Creels would have what they thought was just a normal family dinner. Now, all that’s left are their spirits. Look, the dinner table is still set, and there are also candles and everything in here. Whew, this room really gives me the heebie-jeebies, so let’s not linger here. Shall we move on?

Phew! We made it through the ground floor! You want to see the upstairs, too? Did that lamp just flicker, or was I blinking too hard? Okay, time to head upstairs, I guess.

Why do these floorboards have to creak so much? It’s like a built-in alarm system for demogorgons. I’m not crying, I promise… It’s just dust allergies. Okay, as you wished, here you have the first floor. This is where Alice and Henry used to have their bedrooms. Just standing here, I can practically feel the house’s 2,593 bricks vibrating with a horrifying backstory. You just go ahead and enter Henry’s room. I’ll be right outside... guarding. Look, his bed, nightstand, and toy chest, it’s all here. Ugh, and so is that spider in the jar over there next to his bed. Good grief, you see that drawing lying on top of his toy chest? Looks like the Mind Flayer monster! Imagine receiving drawings like that from your kid... Not something you’d want to hang on the fridge, that’s for sure.

And poor Alice next door, that happy, energetic girl. Such a tragedy. Her bed and toys are still here in her room, and so are her books over there, neatly stacked in front of the fireplace. A little odd with the hat on her bed, isn’t it? Maybe it’s nothing. You don’t think it’s Vecna’s, do you?! Let’s not touch it, just in case.

Imagine this is the floor where Henry grew up to become, you know, Vecna. Just thinking about it makes the cold attic upstairs seem inviting. You know what, let’s see the attic!

Good thing we got away from that floor! I mean, even that huuuge spider over there seems pretty harmless right now! Not that I’d ever want to play with it, like Henry did... ugh, chills! Look at all those lamps and candles. There’s even a radio up here. Imagine, Victor Creel used to think a demon was hiding up here in the attic. Turns out, the real monster was right downstairs.

You know what?! We made it all the way through the house – both of us in one piece! That actually wasn’t as terrifying as I feared. Heh, I’m so sorry, I don’t know why I was so overly scared!

Hey, what do you think this one does? Uh-oh.

Why did it just get really cold in here? Wait, are those floating particles? Is that… a clock chiming?! Oh no, I think I just triggered something, and we're about to be pulled into Vecna’s Mind Lair! Quick! Before Vecna arrives, what’s your favorite song? Maybe this radio will work!

Good thing I saw Steve’s car in the driveway! That means he, Eleven, Mike, and the rest of the Stranger Things group will be here soon and rescue us. Don’t you think? Any minute now…

RIGHT?!
