Tips for using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime app
Saving your projects to the hub
The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime hub has twenty slots for you to save your program in (positions 0 to 19). The default slot is always ‘0’ so you don’t accidentally fill all the available positions. If you want to organize your projects, make sure to change the slot number in the box next to the Play button.
Saving is an automatic feature in the SPIKE Prime app so if you accidentally overwrite position ‘0’, it’s OK! You can locate all your programs in My Programs on the Home menu. Just open the project you need, change the position, and download it to the hub.
Sharing projects
Sharing your project is easy using the sharing methods available on your device.
Turning off the hub
Press and hold the blue center button on the front of the hub for three seconds. You’ll hear some clicking and the display will disappear. At this point you can release the button. Your hub is now turned off!
Renaming the hub
Right out of the box, the hub has a default name of ‘LEGO Hub’. To change its name, connect your hub to your device and click on the hub icon at the top of your programming canvas. This will bring up the hub menu. Here you’ll see the RENAME option at the top under the current name.
