Having now built it I am REALLY glad that I did, it looks much better than I anticipated and the building experience itself was a lot of fun. My favourite piece is probably the window sign for the Vet Office (Dr. Jones - No snakes) which gave me a nice little giggle, even if I did crack the joke before I had fully read the window print. I am also happy to report that even if you put the window in the wrong way round it is easy to pop out and refit once the build is complete (yes, I'm that person). A small number of mini figures with this modular but, to be entirely honest, that works for me as I am not a big mini figure fan (don't come for me). They do add life to the displayed modular though and it looks great on the shelf. Let's be honest there isn't that much else you can do with the modular range once they are built and that works for me as I enjoy the build and I get just as much pleasure from looking at the completed item and remembering the build. - July 16th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0No snakes?! DAHAHAHAHAI would recommend this to a friend!Okay, the fact that this has an Indiana Jones reference in it alone makes it fantastic, but boy, this got a lot of middling reviews, huh? I don't really know why, and as a result, I kind of automatically liked it a lot, like I took it under my wing. "Hey, set, don't listen to them, you rule! You're the most interactive out of all the sets, the garage door is so cool, and the car lift is a lot of fun, and you're sturdy as can be! Perhaps the sturdiest of the modular buildings! Chin up, champ!" Anyway. I ended up liking the set a lot, even if the first floor is just a little barren. I could add stuff to it, sure, but there should be a little bit more clutter. Car mechanics are anything but tidy and sparse. But the second and third floor are full of detail. The vet is terrific, I love the fish in the wall and the examining table. The waiting area is great, too! The apartment on the top floor is top notch. I just wish more modular buildings had a shower or even a bathtub but I get it, space is limited. The TV is probably my favorite part of the apartment, although the kitchen is lovely, too. And the little model truck! That's cute as can be. I love the rooftop area, always a good spot for a party. Great set. Very recommended!Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55Corner Garage
- January 20th, 2019Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Angelic anglesI would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI bought this set for my 6 year old and I to build at the end of the school Christmas holidays. We love building the creator modular house and I am always amazed at the innovative techniques thought up by the designers at Lego. When the set was announced I was intrigued by the angled facade. It did not disappoint. The techniques used to create the angled wall from square bricks, to get the amount of stability in the structure and to avoid unsightly gaps at the corners were nothing short of genius! Overall, this fits in wonderfully with the rest of our street and I think it is great to see new artitectural styles being developed in the modular series.Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 6 hrsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?55Corner Garage
- March 23rd, 2019Average rating4out of 5 stars4.0My Take on the Corner GaragePepster |I would recommend this to a friend!Purchased for: SelfI really wanted to give this a 5-Star Rating, but I just couldn't do it. The overall appearance is very detail with the exception of the garage. I think adding a car or another vehicle that you could put on the car hoist or tow truck would had been a nice touch. The floor of the garage should had been smooth or titled instead of studded. The layout of the veterinarian office and the apartment is a little odd, but in the LEGO Designers defense they didn't have much to work with. I personally would had a tool store or an auto supply store on the second floor and the veterinarian office on the third floor. I might kept the apartment as is and have it the owner's house. Even though I gave it four stars I would still recommend it to others as it was a fun build.Play Experience5.0Level of Difficulty4.0Value for Money4.0Build Time: 8 hrsBuilding Experience: Advanced LEGO builderWas this helpful?45Corner Garage
