- November 8th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0A pleasing Festive build.Rich75 |I would recommend this to a friend!I’ve loved the film Home Alone since I was a kid, and now to have the opportunity to build and display the McCallister house it’s brought all the fun memories of the film to my living room. There are lots of features and references inside the house and even one or two for the second Home Alone film. The house itself is a nice solid build, and being modular you can separate each floor to look at each area in detail. The OH-KAY plumbing van is a nice touch as is the tree house. For an extra festive touch I’m going to look into adding some small LED lights for the interior to give it that extra special Christmas feel.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55LEGO® Ideas Home Alone
- November 14th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0KEEP THE CHANGE, YA FILTHY ******!I would recommend this to a friend!Spent the course of 4 days building this with my wife and daughter. Great fun playing with the different interactions that lego had set up throughout the build. Characters pop up nicely during the build (5 in total). Scene scenarios match up nicely but during the build we did decide to watch the film one night and noticed the house did have further features to the left and right. I guess this would of made the build quite a bit bigger and alot more pieces. With the extension add on the back the depth is 13" (33cm) which would mean a fairly deep shelf to display on. Luckily that section can be deatched for ease of display. Fantastic throughout and nice to see a different movie used for lego other than Star Wars, Batman, Marvel, Jurassic Park etc. Would love to see lego branch out more with movie choices other than large franchises. How about The Grinch and Whoville!! Enjoy if you decide to go ahead and buy.Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55LEGO® Ideas Home Alone

I loved building it, lots of pieces, lots of details and hidden pieces, the Home Alone Lego gift under the tree is class . It is a bit expensive but I think it was worth it. Really enjoyable build, gutted that I've finished itPlay Experience5.0Value for Money4.0Was this helpful?55LEGO® Ideas Home Alone
- November 8th, 2021Average rating5out of 5 stars5.0Don’t miss out!I would recommend this to a friend! This build is amazing! First off, for the price and pieces, amazing value. Let’s not stop there. The detail is insane and if you grew up with Home Alone being a staple of your life (I remember when it came out and saw at theatres) you need to be all in your feels and purchase. This set took about 8 hours to do and worth every minute - we did a time lapse too. The box and instruction book is intimidating, but take it bag by bag. My boys were shocked, for even the Daily Bugle didn’t have this many bags. The booby traps are great - the fact Marv has an iron burn on his face is everything. Red door knob, laundry shoot works, even the treehouse is perfect - it works and the angle is perfection for the mini figures land perfectly. The plane tickets are in the trash. The fact this display opens up and you can see inside, is outstanding. Just purchase this set before you miss out and enjoy it. Turn in Home Alone and build away! I’m hoping they do the apartment from Home Alone 2 - it’s about time Lego! Great job!Play Experience5.0Value for Money5.0Was this helpful?55LEGO® Ideas Home Alone
