Why we sometimes have to retire old pieces

Our talented designers in Denmark invent new LEGO® toys all the time. To make sure that they’re constantly making toys that are better and more fun every time, they sometimes need to change the pieces or create new ones from scratch!

That’s why we sometimes stop making certain bricks: we either substituted them with something better or we haven’t needed that piece in a long time so we decided to stop making it.
