Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about the LEGO® Magazine? You can find the answers here!
Why is the magazine changing name?
Our magazine is all about LEGO® fun for kids, and we wanted to make sure that the name of the magazine reflects that. We listened to kids and parents worldwide, and they all agreed: LEGO Magazine is the perfect new name! We hope you'll love it too.
Will the magazine stay free?
YES! Nothing changes there!
It will still be completely free of charge to get the LEGO® Magazine sent to your home 5 times a year.
What changes exactly with the rebranding?
The only thing that changes is the name and the look and feel of the magazine.
We'll continue to send the magazine to you five times a year for free and it will still be packed with the LEGO® characters and sets that your child loves.
We are just redecorating the pages to reflect our new name and making it even more accessible and easier for you and your child to navigate.
When will I see the new magazine look?
You will get to see the new name and look and feel in the November issue 2024!
In the meantime, you’ll start seeing communications announcing the new name already now, as all new subscribers signing up from August will receive the LEGO® Magazine as their first issue. And we just like to make sure that you know what will arrive in your mail.
Does the rebranding affect my existing subscription?
NOPE, nothing will change about your current subscription and you don't have to do anything.
If your child is already subscribed to the LEGO® Life Magazine, you will continue to get the physical magazine automatically five times a year for free just like you are used to.
Who can sign up for the LEGO® Magazine?
Parents and guardians can sign up children between the ages of 5 and 9.
If your child is under the age of 5, there are lots of fun experiences better suited to our youngest builders at our DUPLO® site. If your child is older than 9, they would more likely enjoy the cool, personalised experiences of the LEGO® Play app, which you can download here:
What does it cost to get the magazine?
It really is absolutely free! The magazine is printed and posted to you free of charge. It’s our way of celebrating LEGO® fans all around the world.
In which countries is the magazine available?
United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Italy and Mexico.
Do I need a LEGO® account to subscribe to the magazine?
Yes, you do need an account to subscribe to LEGO® Magazine. It’s free and gets you access to our membership programme, LEGO Insiders.
This opens up a world of exclusive rewards and members-only perks to you and your family. You can earn points and redeem them for LEGO sets, discounts, play activities and even LEGOLAND® tickets!
When will my next issue arrive?
The next issue will be delivered:
As a new subscriber, please check your subscription confirmation email for more information on when your child will receive the first magazine as this date might be different depending on when you signed up.
How do I cancel my magazine subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time for any reason by updating your account info. Just go to the subscription management page!
Why is my child not getting the physical magazine anymore?
We would love to continue sending the magazine to all LEGO® fans, but the magazine is primarily designed for children aged 5-9. If your child would like to continue getting the magazine, you can still receive it for an additional year. Just log on to your account, and tick the ‘Renew Subscription’ box for each of your subscribed children.
You can always download the digital version of the magazine from our collection page.
How do I sign up?
There are two easy steps:
- Click ‘Sign up’ and follow the on-screen instructions to create a LEGO® account.
- Enter your address details so we know where to send the magazine.
That’s it!
Please contact Customer Service if you have any issues signing up.
How long will I have to wait for my child’s first magazine to arrive?
Depending on the time of month you signed up and the shipping schedule of the magazine, it can take anywhere from 6 to 16 weeks before your child’s first magazine arrives. We know this can feel like a terribly long time for a child, so we are constantly working to bring this timescale down.
While you wait for the magazine to arrive, you can check out the latest version in the magazine collection.
Where do I find the entry form for sending in Cool Creations?
You can find it in the Cool Creation form page.
How do I change my postal address/email address?
You can update your account info on the subscription management page, logging in using your LEGO® account.
If you do not have a LEGO account, please contact Customer Service.
The magazine didn’t arrive in our postbox, even though it has before. What do I do?
Sometimes magazines become lost in the post or cannot be delivered due to an unforeseen issue. Always remember to keep your address updated on the subscription management page.
For any other issue, contact Customer Service who can replace a lost magazine.
Are there different versions of the magazine?
Starting with Issue 4 2020, there are two versions of the LEGO® Magazine available. These feature unique material for children younger than 8 and children above 8 years old and above.
